Composer/Songwriter. Proficient performer of piano, bass guitar, double bass, cello, 6 string , 12 string , drums, triangle (shall I include tambourine too?🤣), vocals, lyrics. 99% of the tracks on this page are original songs. None of my performances on any of my tracks, whether solo work, or collaboration, have any editing whatsoever. Effects and equalization? Of course! But no editing, no software, etc. Quite a substantial amount of these tracks are with The Eclectic Collective. We are like family and have been playing together on a daily basis since approximately March of 2022 as the Eclectic Collective. Before the band bore it's name Eclectic Collective; Josh, Ken, Stephen, Tez, and  CG Maness were doing some occasional collabs. At any given time we are all simultaneously working on about 15 different songs. And when we feel they are done cooking in the oven we release them.  We release a song every week on Fridays at 4AM UTC

Thank you very much to everyone who takes the time to listen, like and share my noises. I am extremely grateful. My apologies if I take a little while to respond to those that leave nice comments.

I like listening to music, making simple, tunes when I have time, and generally faffing about in an inefficient manner. Hopefully you might like something on offer here. 

I use a Hinkler Cigar Box guitar (about $30 from Aldi, great fun), a Flying V ukulele, a couple of old keyboards, other bits and bobs, and a Yamaha tenor saxophone.

No AI is used to generate sounds whilst journeying on these cacophonic adventures.

Best known as a local Northern California Funk Band, FlexHead and their sound have developed and grown in popularity since 2015. Influenced by the community, culture, and sounds of their hometown, they perform music that speaks to fans across the musical spectrum. According to the ChatBot, and who am I to argue, Dee Zee’s music style is a blend of classical and electronic elements, which creates a unique and original sound. He writes, plays, and records all the tracks himself, using various instruments and software. He is inspired by artists like Philip Glass, Steve Reich, and Brian Eno.
Some of the features of his music style are:
•	He uses repetitive patterns and motifs, which create a hypnotic and rhythmic effect. He also experiments with different time signatures and polyrhythms, which add complexity and diversity to his music.
•	He incorporates ambient sounds and textures, which create a rich and atmospheric sound. He also uses effects and filters, such as reverb, delay, distortion, and glitch, which add depth and dimension to his music.
•	He explores different moods and emotions, which range from dark and mysterious to bright and cheerful. He also uses contrast and dynamics, which create tension and release in his music.
•	He combines acoustic and electronic sounds, which create a balance and harmony in his music. He plays various instruments, such as piano, guitar, violin, and drums, and also uses synthesizers, samplers, and drum machines.
Dee Zee’s music resonates with those who appreciate a fusion of classical sensibilities and electronic innovation. 

According to me I’m an independent musician, writing and recording instrumental electronic progressive rock on Roland synthesiser workstations, although the original ideas for tracks often come from iPad soft synths (I use the Animoog and Jordantron) or the piano [not the piano so much due to arthritis in both hands - at least the keyboard has lighter action] or guitar.  

After playing piano from a very young age I played keyboards in the London pub rock group deEssen.  My original influences were probably Caravan, Camel, Ultravox, Jean Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Pink Floyd and The Doors, with a sprinkling of Yes, Genesis, King Crimson, ELP, PFM, Greenslade, Deep Purple, Mike Oldfield, Vangelis…  These days, when I’m not listening to you on SoundCloud I listen to Iamthemorning, The Resonance Association, Ozric Tentacles, Joe Satriani, IQ, Threshold, Steven Wilson, Lacuna Coil, Liquid Tension Experiment, The Flower Kings, Spock’s Beard, Led Bib, Thank You Scientist, Big Big Train, Eloy, Magenta, Wobbler, Frost*, Simon Phillips, Jean-Luc Ponty, Renaissance, Arena, Izz, Jupiter Fungus, The Tangent, Karfagen, Lunatic Soul, Hania Rani, Madis, Nik Bärtsch, Neil Cowley, The Messthetics, The Necks, Antoine Fafard, GoGo Penguin …
