In the past two years he has shared the decks with many of the top tier DJs and producers including: A Guy Called Gerald, Matthias Meyer, Max Cooper, Damian Lazarus, Eric Volta, Seth Troxler,DJ Tennis, Behrouz, Bedouin, Claptone, Thugfucker, No Regular Play, Mark Farina, Miguel Migs, Rony Seikly, Phonique, Johnny Cruz, Bob Moses, Naveen G, Tara Brooks, Anthony Attalla, Nico Stojan, Bill patrick, Frank & Tony, and many others.He became entranced with DJing following a funk set he experienced at Burning Man several years ago. He has since become and avid Burner and runs the music curation one of the largest dance music amps on the Playa.  He has been invited to play at many of the most popularand respected sound camps such as: Pink Mammoth, Distrikt, The Kasbah, Heart Phoenix, Robot Heart and Trifucta where he shares many incredible line ups with, to name a few: Lee Burridge, DJ Tennis, Thugfucker & Carl Craig to name only a few.  Kellam is also the music director at Camp Trifucta where he books and manages a line up of over 70 DJs each year. Although Kellam has only recently stepped into the arena of the underground dance music scene in the past 5 years, he is no stranger to music. He touredfor several years as a singer / songwriter, playing venues such as the famous House of Blues many times, in addition to countless bars, festivals and concert venues across the country. This has served him incredibly well in his transition to being a DJ. He 
has an truly polished ability to read and feed off the audience and really capture and shape the vibe of where ever he is DJing. This is part of the reason why his popularity amongst crowds and dance floors has exploded.At one point Kellam was DJing events and parties up to 7 nights a week around the North East. Playing in all kinds of situations has proven useful his ability to read the crowd and build the perfect vibe. He has since taken more international bookings and is being well received everywhere that he shares his talent.  His club, warehouse party and after hours residencies have informed his talent a great deal having regularly played beside some of the worlds best talent, such as, DJ Tennis, Mano Le Tough, Matthias Meyer, Thugfucker, Corey Baker/Pattern Drama, Gregorythyme, Bedouin, Signal Flow, and many more.

It wasn’t long ago that I never considered DJing or had any knowledge of the underground dance music scene whatsoever. In fact, it was at burning man many years ago that I had my first crash course in exposure to it at all.  I remember the first time I came to DISTRIKT in 2010 I was so blown away by the complete wild nature of this seemingly never ending block party that was completely encompassed with a totally inviting family vibe; While the DJs, who were completely foreign to me were making everyone dance in rhythm with each other.  Fast forward many years and there I was, walking into the DJ booth, playing on the Wednesday line up, of which I personally knew all the DJs. As my music career has started and grown, which such a burning man influence, so has my musical direction.  With this set I completely went with the flow of the day and started with a very techie vibe, taking over from where Muffs & Mykola left off, and let music naturally flow from techie, grooves day time vibes to just open, progressive tech vibes. I am so happy to have been invited to join the musical family at the DISTRIKT, and really hope you enjoy this set… Looking forward to seeing you all this year at the burn!

Kelly Kellam aka Kellam, is a DJ Music producer, event producer and music curator out of New York City.  Most recently he has taking the role as Director of Audio at the Assemblage, NYC, following his role as Music Curator and resident DJ for W Hotels in south east Asia. Over the past 10 years he has really carved out a name for him self on the international stage and has played all over the world and along side an incredibly long list of industry icons, from Asia, Europe, Africa, and central America, as well as all over the United States. He has also played festivals all over the world, including innumerable sets at burning man, to include atop of the legendary Robot Heart bus, Distrikt, Trifucta, Pink Mammoth to name a few. He has been a regular in the underground scene in NYC playing at many of the top underground venues, events & warehouse parties. 
Kellam has an incredible ability to tune his dynamic sound to the vibe and take people on a journey infusing organic instrumentals with a deep rhythmically grooved underbelly. From mid tempo organic vibes to driving rhythms & melodies, he will set the perfect soundtrack to the experience at hand. Kellam integrates sounds that will always keep you moving & in a euphoric rhythmic groove through his curious sound that blends deep house, electronica, progressive, techno, and indigenous inspired grooves; always attuned to the moment. 
During 2015 he held the position of music director & resident DJ for the W Hotels in south east Asia in 2015. While there he produced and played events with some the top names in underground dance music. A few of the notable names he produced parties with include, Thugfucker, My Favorite Robot, A Guy Called Gerald, Eric Volta, Signal Flow, Graham Gold and many others.  He is also the founder & curator of Access Underground; a select podcast series supported as a featured channel on Mixcloud.com.
