Music intended for meditation, creative states, or deep rest. This piece stems from an original live take that has been refined and detailed in the Ableton Sandbox. I imagined optimal listening environment is with eye-closed with headphones on, enjoy.

Soundtrack to Joseph Newton-Keogh's VCASS dance work. 
 
Tense microtonal strings are swallowed by creaking textures and acidic melodies. A skeletal rhythm raises before purging into an unsettling, quaking drone.

10 Directions - shifting, yearning analogue harmonies spawn morphing tapestries of strings and texture. An ode to the ineffable nature and wisdom of the body and yogic sleep. A sublime horror, embracing overawe and the inconceivable aspects of reality.

Swimming Headless - teeming, sensual, and ancestral. A colourful groove-focused track acknowledging the drum of indigenous and diasporic cultures. Lush percussive reflections swell and dance, a celebration of the communal body - gratitude oozes from our pores in this dance.

Spinal Engine - a rolling hypnotic club focused beat channelling the primal, vigorous and transcendent forces of the body. Embracing chaos, rich  atmospherics surge while maintaining equal focus on the insistent groove and drive.

Zero Point - rapid, elastic and ecstatic. Diffuse high pace club rhythms dance with strobing arpeggio, culminating in a bright spectral wall of chimes. Inspired by the subatomic world and the infinite depth, potential and complexity of connection between two points.

Fountain - an ethereal ambient wash of devotional recordings activated by undulating organic rhythms. Inspired by Daoist philosophy and the flux of the natural world, motion and stasis exist simultaneously, encouraging listeners to deepen their connection to their body and space within.

An extract from ‘Ecdysis’ 2024; a live solo movement and sound work centred around a sinuous, shadowy figure and an adaptive soundscape that evolves through profound pressure and purity in the process of rebirth.

‘Ecdysis’ forms an evocative, tactile sonic landscape resembling at once the organic and technological with astute patience and haunting beauty. Worming tones blur with glitched-out metallics through a web of overflowing processing, whilst ominous waves foreshadow a potent climax. Crafting a spine-chilling but not inaccessible space, ‘Ecdysis’ offers an experimental experience to relate to the isolated and alien aspects in our own lives.
