Deucey Baby aka Deuce Wellington aka James Hemmingway II was born and raised in Philadelphia PA . Since the tender age of 5 ,he’s been beat boxing and writing lyrics. He sharpened his skills through street battles and gained the interest of the streets in the latter years of the 2000s. He and his childhood friends formed a group called Black Royalty, which they later changed to SayGo .There was no stopping Deuce until his run in with law enforcement in 2006 .But Even though he’s been through The Philadelphia Prison System That hasn’t stopped Deuce from achieving his dream. When he was released , He dropped a single called “Straight Rider “ and the infamous “Simon Says “ freestyle which showed his fans that he didn’t lose a step. His lyrical content was and still is ahead of it’s time. He and his group later joined the Music Group ALLEYBOYS . He started doing shows all over the Tri-state , appearing in “The Look At My Dab” Concert and Straight Out Of Philly Showcase. He’s also appeared in “The Subway Cypher Tour “where he gained the interest of the CEO of NoveeeRecords llc. which he later signed on to.
