J.J. Cale (1938 - 2013) recorded Magnolia in 1971.  Since then, many musicians discovered his music and covered his songs("After Midnight", "Cocaine", Call Me The Breeze", "Sensitive Kind", and others).  Here is my version as an ambient or mood song.  I played all backing instruments - 6-string, 12-string, baritone guitars.

One of the most popular folk songs from the Former Yugoslavia.  The text was written by Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj (1833 - 1904), a lawyer, a medical doctor, and a poet.  After losing all his five children and his wife to tuberculosis, he dedicated his life to the children poetry.  Nikola Tesla, one of the most brilliant Yugoslav-American scientists, was an admirer of Dr. Jovanovic poetry and even translated several of Dr. Jovanovic poems in English.

Samo Jednom Se Ljubi” (You Only Love Once) is a “schlager,” a style of European popular music. Ivo Robic (1923 – 2000), a singer and songwriter who was popular in the Former Yugoslavia, wrote the song in 1956.
