Growing up with a rich musical heritage it was almost destined that Aaron better known as Aztec would be involved in the music scene one day. An open lover of many different styles it’s Dance Music that’s always been closest to his heart, As a child he’d find himself having countless hours of joy listening to his parents cassette tapes. Being Dance Music lovers themselves he was exposed to everything the 90’s rave scene had to offer and It was these sounds that helped pave the way to what he plays today.

DJ’ing didn’t come around though till his mid teens but collecting music is something he’s always done with him having to spend most of his life dealing with the passing of his father. Music was the way he escaped from the harsh realities life had offered up for him, As he approached the age of 16 it was then when the decision was made to take all his musical knowledge and passion one step further by taking up the art of DJ’ing. In the early days Aaron mastered his mixing skills playing a selection of different genres until mid 2012 when he heard “Hot Natured - Forward Motion” for the first time, It was that moment his arm hairs stood up and he knew House Music was what he wanted to play since that day he’s never looked back. 

Fast forward to the modern day and Aztec has earned the right to support and play on events hosting some of the best House & Techno DJ’s the world has to offer. With sets on global brands Defected & Do Not Sleep you can now see him holding a residency at The Move one of the Midlands premier nights. Aaron is also heavily involved in Freakshow a brand new night which has a target of becoming a major force in his local city of Stoke-on-Trent. His goals for the future will see him being involved in the studio a lot more while also continuing to grow his label.

From as far back as he can remember Marvin Lambert has always had music close to his heart, It was the turn of the new millennium when this musical journey began. Marvin was lucky enough to have the privilege of owning his first set of turntables at the tender age of 12, With strong early inspirations coming from the likes of Carl Cox, Mauro Picotto, Wu-Tang Clan, 2Pac, Dr Dre, Eminem and Shy Fx. Being blessed with a musical upbringing that involved multiple genres it’s that House Music sound that’s always been the most predominant for him. 

All the way through his teens Marv would find himself completing his weekly ritual spending every Friday night listening to the latest BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, It’s these mixes that helped to inspire him to put in countless hours of practice in his bedroom perfecting his DJ’ing skills. Once the art of mixing was mastered he then went on to college to study music technology this is where Marvin began to learn the production side of music. This step was something he always wanted being able to create his own sound and put a spin on the House Music genre that he could call his own. In 2011 he came across a track that took the world by storm “Azarii & III - Hungry For The Power (Jamie Jones Remix)” the shivers ran down his spine the first time he listened it and from that moment there was no looking back he fount the direction he wanted to go in. 

Since then Marvin has gone on to land himself residencies with one of the Midlands elite brands The Move, Who mix it up with the biggest DJ’s and producers in the world today he is also hugely involved in Freakshow a new event that wants to cause its own storm in the House and Techno world. It doesn’t just stop there global superpowers Defected & Do Not Sleep have also played host to the Marvin Lambert sound when they stopped by in his hometown of Stoke-on-Trent. With a bright future ahead Marvin will continue to put the hours in on his music productions while also continuing to rock the dance floor with his slick mixing skills.
