The man behind the much loved bespoke imprint Cotton Goods, Other Ideas and the Moteer/Mobeer labels. He makes beautifully modest and understated music, highly recommended to fans of life's subtler joys.

"A lot of times it’s not only the sound itself but also the way it has deteriorated. I just love the crackle of vinyl, the saturated distortion of analogue tape, the hiss of wax-cylinders, the aging process of the artifact itself is equally important as the sounds themselves. Most of the early Biosphere remixes where collected on the Biosystems CD in 1999. This compilation has been out of print for years. On this EP, a selection of these are available in digital formats. The EP has a distinct Biosphere sound. In true techno/ambient remix-tradition, Geir Jenssen has taken the essens from the original, and re-created the tracks in his own sound and mood universe. Stylewise, it can be compared to Patashnik, with it's mix between the rhythmic and the ambient.

Hailing from Kristiansund on the northwest coast of Norway, Helge Tømmervåg has been crafting electronic sounds since the early '80s. His earliest work recorded under the now-familiar Mind over MIDI moniker arrived in the early '90s. He's released scores of highly regarded and stylistically uncompromising sounds over the years, appearing on labels including Silent Seasons, Diametric, Hibernate, Whitelabrecs, ROHS! Lontano Series, Shimmering Moods Records, Slow Tones Collages and via his own Berserk Fabrik.

Electronic music for daydreamers and nighthinkers. Inspired by the icy winds, snowy vistas and frozen landscapes in Norway.
