Genre-blending New Zealand-based producer Mindseye returns with a melodic mix of IDM, Downtempo, and Chillstep, inspired by sounds that originate in the magical islands of Thailand. The title of the song is a reference to the infinite amount of different people (race, color, religion, sexuality, etc) that inhabit our little planet, making the song a celebration of diversity!

“Held” chronicles a challenging personal period when I needed to return to something simple. With the artistic limitation of a single piano, I composed and recorded music with the aim of feeling held, heard, and connected. The result is a minimalistic instrumental album, with vulnerability, warmth, and intimacy that sounds almost like you’re sitting inside the piano in my living room. While listening to the music you are experiencing the soft brushing of the hammers, shuffling wood keys, and delicate incidental noises and textures that give a sense of space and detail allowing the piano to sing in a physical and tactile way.
