"Hello, hope you are well?

As I am preparing my Debut album for this year, not all tracks are making the tight selection, so here is the first tune that I have to leave out, and I am sharing it with you as a Free Gift. 

"Love This Life" happened with a collaboration with my brother Jakub, who is a professional pianist and composer, and we made it back in 2014 after birth of my son, so it pretty describes how I felt back then, and still I do - as I LOVE THIS LIFE!! :-)

Vocals are by Dan Frisko, what I liked is the laid back feel of his voice, which sits well with a main riff contrast that comes in middle of the tune and it does make you move - I feel...

Hope you like it too and I cant wait to share the full debut Album with you.

Mindspring Music presents: Slaycub - Visceral Planet [MSM102]

Slaycub's new EP with four tracks that have been in the making for well over a year; a year spent revisiting, reviving, and reinvigorating them with much love and care. These are some of his most emotional works, focusing more on the flow of tension and release rather than on technicality or pure experimentation.
The word “visceral” references deep emotion and intuition, in contrast to logic or reason. Placed next to “planet” in the title of this work, it exemplifies our Earth’s tendency to act intuitively and express its innermost fire. Its creatures are driven by instinct and are fueled by palpable, deep-rooted feeling.

~ The dream state is a part of consciousness in which we can experience emotion, often without limitations imposed by logic. “Dewdrop” is a nod to a song by Cocteau Twins, whose music reverberates through the depths of my own dreams, and whose ethereal influence is felt subtly throughout this body of work. Likewise, we are able to manifest these dreams into waking life and orchestrate our own soundtrack.

~ The title track is a convergence of our planet’s elemental emotions: its nurturing soil, mournful winds, cleansing rain, and eruptions of fire. It lives through these with vehemence, and vulnerability; both polarities are expressed in this track.

~ Our reality is built upon the fundamental fabric of space-time, which itself is not concrete, but flows, warps, and wobbles in a dance with the masses of our Universe. Earth’s mere existence creates a distortion in the geometry of this fabric.

~ Our planet rides along the grooves of the sun’s distortions. Sunlight begets all life on our planet, and is our source of light and warmth. This final track encapsulates the sparkling radiance of our star and the way its heat blankets us, and how it creates an impression on us both physically and emotionally.

I am London, United Kingdom based and started mixing in February 2023 on a Numark DJ2GO2 Touch.

I mix music for my own amusement mostly, but I'm thrilled if you fancy what you're hearing. In August 2023, I moved away from Numark and went for a Pioneer DDJ-FLX4. Currently mixing on a GRV-6.
My to go genres are: house, afro and tribal, electronic, deep house, trance, techno and minimal(but never set for less).

I love music in general, especially if it has transcending beats or thought-provoking message embedded in the track. I always had an almost organic desire to start mixing music myself, despite the fear of failure.

I always thought that:
When music gives you goosebumps, you’re on the right track.
