Presenting "Petricor," a 2-track EP that takes you on a captivating sonic journey, seamlessly fusing Downtempo with House music. The EP's title track encapsulates the essence of Ibiza's unique atmosphere, radiating Latin, sunny, happy, and refreshing vibes—mirroring the magical island itself and the duo's residency DJ sets at Cova Santa.

Following the rhythm of "Petricor" is the second track, "Silent Nights." This composition explores the tranquil side of Magnetizm's musical prowess, creating an atmospheric escape where the night comes alive with subtle yet enchanting melodies. "Silent Nights" stands as a testament to the duo's skill in crafting immersive soundscapes.

Electronic music pioneer Florin Marica, aka DJ Marika, recently dropped his debut album, 'From The Future, From The Past', under his label Selectro. 🚀👨‍🚀

This album is more than just music, it represents a strategic move in his career, revealing a sophisticated and mature aspect of his artistic vision. Featuring eleven tracks ranging from dub and breakbeat to tech house, this eclectic collection caters to every electronic music enthusiast, each song weaving a unique story that invites you to be part of the journey. Fantastic guest artists like Suie Paparude, Silent Strike, Emmah Toris, Unu', Junkyard, The Speakers, and the talented Lexx Groove joined in, bringing their magic to the project and making it truly special. 

As an exceptional DJ, producer, and promoter, Florin Marica played a key role in shaping Romania's '90s underground music scene. A finalist in the esteemed Heineken Music Thirst, he showcased his talents by orchestrating groundbreaking events for over 15 years, bringing together local and international DJs, producers, and captivating live acts for unforgettable experiences, providing also a significant opportunity for young talents to present and promote themselves.

Under the Selectro banner, Marika crafted a unique scene, combining local talents and global luminaries, showcased at the esteemed Sunwaves Music Festival (SW8/SW10). The brand earned recognition, securing the prestigious 'Best Concept for a Series of Parties in Romania' distinction at the Nights Awards in 2010 and 2011.

And that's not all. Marika's radio shows and work on Atomic TV also marked a groundbreaking era. His DJ skills and the Selectro brand evolved into a record label in 2017, offering incredible eclectic electronic releases and solidifying his enduring influence in global electronic music.
