Paula Koski has carved out a niche for herself with a multifaceted sound that ranges from ambient to experimental to richly layered, hypnotic and mental techno. 

Finland-born but Berlin-based Paula projects her sense of aesthetics and composition into non-verbal tensional sound creations, that are always emblazoned with a clear common thread. 

Paula is a resident artist and musical curator of techno collective, festival and event series @Monument-podcast and this position gives her a kaleidoscopic perspective on contemporary techno.

This Mix was selected, mixed and recorded by DJ Tom Larson @ homebase.
Tom was born on October 24, 1979 in Sonneberg. At the age of 16 he discovered his love for electronic music. At that time he was inspired by music sets of Richie Hawtin, Karotte and many other artists.He also had a big interest in spinning records.
Tom began to create Mixes... He put on records in many reputable locations in his homeland and at numerous radio stations like Sputnik Radio for example. He convinced lots of parties with his ingenious DJ Skills and also wants to convince you. For Tom electronic music is just timeless.

Delving deep in the unknown space of impulsive rhythms, dissociative sounds and dark and eerie atmospheres, his goal ist to mesmerize the listeners with his productions and DJ- Sets. He has been establishing his soundscapes in the local and international scene since 2019. Releasing on labels like Charybdis, Further Sessions, KVLTÖ Records and Deflection Music just to name a few. With more releases insight he will be working on further developing his signature sound.

Since 2001 Juho's style has stood firmly on deep underground sounds mixed together smoothly with plenty of groove and swing.
Under the Deep Space Helsinki umbrella with Samuli Kemppi, Juho has organised Deep Space Helsinki events with international guests, hosted a radio show by the same name, run a vinyl label, released music for the likes of MindTrip and Semantica, played at international venues like Berghain, Cassette and Raadion and held multiple residencies at Helsinki's venues like Ääniwalli and Kaiku before moving permanently to Berlin in 2016. He continues to promote classy underground techno wherever he plays, be it on the long running Deep Space Helsinki Podcast series, behind the DJ booth or through the carefully selected bookings of guest DJs with Samuli Kemppi for the Deep Space Helsinki events back home in Finland.

One thing I’ve learned about vinyl mixing is the importance of embracing imperfection. I feel satisfied with simply blending two records, especially when the transitions come together seamlessly. When I first started learning vinyl mixing, I would book time on the turntables at a record store in Taipei called 有種. It was there that I met many talented DJs and producers who inspired me. I spent countless hours practising, immersing myself in the craft. That’s how my DJ career began..

Now, every home session feels like a step forward. It’s not about perfection—it’s about progress!

Vinyl mixing has taught me patience, precision, and the beauty of the imperfect moments. I’d love to share a bit of my journey with you through my home practice. The transitions may not always be flawless, but every mix brings me closer to the art I love. 💞

Reinvented and relaunched in 2012 under the new name MindTrip.

MindTrip Music was the creation of Buenos Aires born Juan Pablo Pfirter in 2006. The digital-only label acted as a springboard for upcoming Argentinian artists and of course, Pfirter himself, introducing those talents to the rest of the world. Over the years, the fledgling label allowed Juan Pablo the ability to experiment and play with music, sounds and textures and develop his own sense of direction and focus. Collaborating and drawing influence and experience from fellow MindTrip Music artists like Jonas Kopp, Flug, Markus Suckut, Psyk and Monoloc, both the label and Pfirter grew in symbiotic proportion. But after 6 years and 48 releases, Pfirter felt the need for change.

Having released on CLR, Stockholm LTD, Stroboscopic Artefacts & Figure, Pfirter’s brand of hypnotic music has touched dancers and listeners the world over. Not only limited to the clubs, Pfirter’s productions have delved deep into the experimental side too. This is the focus and framework of the new label. 
Juan Pablo reinvented and relaunched the MindTrip imprint, showcasing the full degree of his sound. The label changed its name from MindTrip Music to
just MindTrip, releasing vinyl as well as digital utilising a bespoke artwork profile.
