DISTRIKT Sound is more than just a record label. We build relationships with up and coming producers to nurture their creative work, release their original music, book support tours and help artists build successful careers.

DJ FloorDaMic is a seasoned music maestro whose journey began deep in the heart of the 90s rave scene. Cutting his teeth as a breakdancer and Miami Bass aficionado, he frequented legendary clubs like The Edge in Fort Lauderdale and Glam Slam Miami. It was there, immersed in booming beats and electric crowds, that his love for music transformed into an unshakable passion.


In 1996, armed with his first pair of Technics 1200s, DJ FloorDaMike lit the spark that launched a career spanning decades. His early residencies at BAR West Palm, Rumers, and Ozone set the tone for a high-energy, versatile sound that moves dancefloors and hearts alike.


Now based in the stunning mountains of Taos, New Mexico, DJ FloorDaMike has found a new muse in high alpine events and intimate local gatherings. His sets blend the soul of classic Miami vibes with the spirit of New Mexico's rugged beauty, delivering unforgettable experiences that keep audiences coming back for more.


Whether he's spinning at iconic venues, hosting remote pop-up parties, or curating soundscapes for weddings and athletic competitions, DJ FloorDaMike brings an unstoppable energy and deep-rooted love for music to every beat.

"INTERNATIONAL SOUND" is OUT NOW

From June of 2009 to October of 2012 Algorhythms 88.1fm WMBR M.I.T. radio carried out it's on air assault of the radiowaves in Boston Massachusetts. Founded by DJ DC on a mission to bring REAL underground electronic music to the commercial airwaves. 


DC has been involved with the electronic dance music scene in Boston and the northeast since the early nineties. He got his start with legendary Monstamind Crew notorious for a string of parties that introduced the region to the electro/breaks/b-boy culture. Like veterans Reel Drama, Miztahlex, D-Rek, and Trixie before him he now carries the breakbeat torch into the next century. 

In the years to follow DC Aka Dave Calculator has steadily risen through the ranks. 
He was a Boston Breaks founder and resident at the famed Tension weekly at the Phoenix Landing. Firmly entrenched in the Northeast breaks circuit he has shared the stage with names such as Reid Speed, The Rogue Element, The Freestylers, Exzakt, John B, Tommie Sunshine, Brazen, Melee, Sneaker and the Dryer, Farace, JSB, Big-n-Dope, and Deekline.

Now residing in West Palm Beach Florida, Dave Calculator enters a new chapter that is being written as we speak. Stay Tuned!!
