#114 presented by Tokyo based artist Ryogo Yamamori (@ryogoyamamoritracks). A brooding, eclectic mix which perfectly showcases his signature style. The Japanese producer has a sound reminiscent of the broader, ever-impressive Japanese techno scene, but always with his own signature take. 

Ryogo's DJ'ing & productions (often via his own label Kagerou),  immerse you in a dreamy atmosphere of organic & unique percussive  elements, underpinned by a sparse warmth & driving psychedelic techno energy.

 As an established artist, Rommek has expanded his own sound, carving his way into the current techno and experimental scenes since 2013.  His extensive interest in sound design is crafted within the cinematic atmospheres, heavy broken rhythms and electrifying tones found within his productions. 

Rommek joined the seminal Blueprint Records in 2016, releasing five EPs, gaining remixes from label owner James Ruskin, Broken English Club, O/V/R (Ruskin & Regis) and Makaton, which established his position on the map. Since then, a steady output of releases on Tommy Four Seven’s 47 imprint, Leyla Records, Natural Selection, Mord, Hex and collaborative release with the Spanish duo NX1 has expanded his discography. 
 
Since releasing over 15 EP's, Rommek has gained a wide range of noteworthy support, from BBC Radio 1, to features and reviews in Mixmag, The Wire, The Quietus and Fuze magazine. In 2018 he was featured within the top 100 globally charted artists on Resident Advisor. Furthermore, as a touring DJ, he has played extensively around the globe from iconic venues such as Tresor in Berlin, Printworks in London, Warehouse Elementenstraat in Netherlands, LAB Madrid and several across the Americas. From this, it’s clear that Rommek is driven to continue expanding his capabilities and keep things moving forward.

Growing up in brandenburg, near berlin, morphin's musical taste in electronic music was shaped early on by techno in all its facets in the city's clubs and on their dancefloors, where he still is a well-known face. he developed this sound further in leipzig over several years through local influences and its scene. dark, gloomy and cracking noisy elements often provide the framework for his atmospheric, partly hypnotic and altogether darker sets. he is also part of the crew of the club institut fuer zukunft and the leipzig collective 115.
