On the 13th episode of Lasya, we had a signature-style mix by host @klara_vedis, delivered to us in audio-only straight from Frankfurt. For the second hour, she has invited an artist coming from Leipzig - @kontinum, who contributed a live mix including only his original works. On this show, you could also hear the remix he did for Klara - The Desert Of Dream track, coming soon on Circular Limited. 

Guest Bio: 
Jonas, who grew up in the far north of Germany, moved to Leipzig after
20 years of wind and rain. There he was quickly inspired by the
prevailing sounds of the Institut fuer Zukunft and finally started the
Kontinum project in 2016 with a focus on atmospheric and dissociative
Techno. Over the years, the palette of sounds grew and now ranges from
ambient to deep techno to contemporary club-oriented techno.

In 2017, he founded the Nebula collective with a couple of friends and
started hosting the first illegal events. In the course of time, Nebula
has also found its way into the Leipzig club scene and is now an
integral part of it.

Over the years, Jonas has continued to develop and perfect his own sound
and has had the chance to release on labels such as The Gods Planet,
Lowless and Circular Limited.

Since 2021, he has the privilege of being a resident at Institut fuer
Zukunft.

As a well-established artist, Rommek has expanded his own sound, carving his way into the current techno and experimental scenes. His extensive interest in sound design is crafted within the dense atmospheres, heavy broken drums and dynamic tones found within his productions.

Since releasing over 10 EP's Rommek has gained a wide range of noteworthy support, from being played on BBC Radio 1, to many features and reviews in Mixmag, The Wire and The Quietus magazine. In 2018 he was featured within the top 100 globally charted artists on Resident Advisor. Also as a touring DJ, he has played in over 20 countries around the globe. From this, it’s clear that Rommek is driven to continue expanding his capabilities and keep things moving forward.

growing up in brandenburg, near berlin, morphin's musical taste in electronic music was shaped early on by techno in all its facets in the city's clubs and on their dancefloors. he developed this sound further in leipzig over several years through local influences and it's scene. dark, gloomy and cracking noisy elements often provide the framework for his atmospheric, partly hypnotic and altogether darker sets. he is also part of the crew of the club institut fuer zukunft and the leipzig collective 115.

Born in Jerusalem and based in Tel Aviv, Assaf began his DJ career in 1994 by collecting records from all over the globe. This led to the eventual creation of his Youtube channel, WAX2WAX, which showcases his love of house and techno vinyl records. His channel also has a sub series called ‘Meet The Artist’ where only tracks from the featured artist are mixed. Notable episodes have featured Amotik, Orbe, Abdulla Rashim / Anthony Linell, Luigi Tozzi and Oscar Mulero to name a few. 

I have been a big fan of his channel especially as he tends to lean towards the deeper, hypnotic side of the techno spectrum and I highly advise you to check out his channel to really see his passion for the genre in full effect.
