Cititrax is proud to present a follow-up to An-i’s Kino-i debut 12”, released in February 2014. An-i continues his love affair with electronics offering us three distinct slabs of throbbing machine funk. The opening track Gutz is a dense mutant high energy number, modern yet timeless. Rut, the first track An-i recorded whilst still living in New York and the first one to catch our attention, opens the B side with a massive dose of syncopated teutonic mayhem, spacier and sparser than the rest. Save Us completes the release with an anthem of dirty warehouse techno.
The record is pressed on 160 gram fluorescent magenta orange vinyl and housed in a high gloss grey Pantone sleeve. Pre-order available now, orders will ship as soon as the records are in stock. Vinyl release date: December 2, 2014.

An-i - Rut

La sua passione per la musica nasce da bambina, prima con la danza classica e Hip-Hop e poi nel 2001 inizia a collaborare con un’etichetta discografica indipendente di Brescia (Melodica Records), iniziando il suo primo approccio con il vinile nel corso degli ultimi 11 anni perfeziona il mixaggio e la tecnica, fondendo più stili musicali insieme, mantenendo l’armonia. 
Frequenta per anni la scena del clubbing in nord Italia, tra Brescia e Verona in locali come 
La Suite, il Mazoom, Le Plaisir o il Baraonda.

Nel 2007 il trasferimento a Roma, che segna uno switch musicale più netto, con un nuovo stile che unisce l’Organic House, Elettronica e la Techno,  suonando in alcuni dei locali più particolari di Roma, come l’Emeralds, il Sottosopra, Saponeria Club e Neo Club. 

Collabora con il collettivo Mongolfiere libere per cui ha suonato per il X anniversario, insieme a Francesco Zappalà, Trisha, Mugen e Omar J Neri.

The Minimal Wave label was founded by Veronica Vasicka in 2005 to create a network for synth wave enthusiasts and promote 80s electronic music via an online archive and vinyl releases. The label specializes in high-quality vinyl pressings of electronic artists from all over the world. Our sub-label Cititrax focuses on modern and experimental electronic dance music. Aside from limited edition vinyl releases, both labels' catalogs are available digitally as well.
