Introducing Im Osten Geht Die Sonne Auf, the second full-length album release by duo Recht auf Rausch from Offenbach, Germany. This 12-track album features the captivating vocal stylings of Momo paired with Kalocain's masterful electronic production. Together, they create a cold and immersive environment that will leave you entranced from start to finish.

The album doesn’t follow homogenous guidelines nor conceptional requirements.
It’s a spontaneous expression of our moods facing obstacles of society.
Producing music to connect, grow, heal - a cathartic process.

While drinking tea and smoking cigarettes in our bedroom studio the procedure of making music starts with some sounds till we feel the direction of the song, then we begin to implant the lyrics.
The fast flow defines our collaboration which feels mostly symbiotic and unforced. In this way our creations become raw, honest and vulnerable.

Patricia Kokett follows up two critically-acclaimed esoteric techno releases on Knekelhuis (Bizarr [2020], Diabel [2018]) with a new EP – Psykhe – to be released by Isla to Isla on the 25th of april 2023 as a 12” vinyl and digital.

Psykhe sees Lithuanian musician and composer Gediminas Jakubka continuing to explore his own distinct sound, but taking it in a new direction: a step away from the euphoric new age dance floor and into a significantly murkier, more precarious territory. Psykhe is meant as a sonic simulacrum of the artist's psyche during the pandemic – a quickened mind bred by a decelerated world. In that and other senses, the record is a modern take on the ‘80s/’90s Detroit ethos of dance music created for an illusory dance floor.

Incidentally (or not!), Psykhe is much more electro-based and darker – intent on delivering catharsis, but not euphoria.

In Meredith, Alpha Sect crafts a sonic portrait of a world on the verge of mechanization. Dance Mécanique, the titular track, unravels the dance of humanity entrapped in the mechanized rhythm of everyday life. Here, the gritty beats of EBM and ethereal echoes of Coldwave serve as a mirror reflecting how, at times, we move mechanically, lost in the repetitive motions of a world dominated by cold efficiency.
Liberty serves as the closing act, a sonic plea for emancipation from the cold embrace of industrial gears. The track's pulsating energy builds to a crescendo, echoing the urgency of breaking free from the constraints of the mechanized world.
The EP also features remixes from two legendary figures in the electronic music realm—The Hacker and the dynamic duo of Mick Willis & Blackmoon77. Brace yourself as they deconstruct and reconstruct the mechanized symphony, adding their unique signatures to this sonic manifesto.

An-i continues his love affair with electronics offering us three distinct slabs of throbbing machine funk. The opening track Gutz is a dense mutant high energy number, modern yet timeless. Rut, the first track An-i recorded whilst still living in New York and the first one to catch our attention, opens the B side with a massive dose of syncopated teutonic mayhem, spacier and sparser than the rest. Save Us completes the release with an anthem of dirty warehouse techno.
