Growing up in the 90s London, the surrounding electronic music scenes were a huge influence. It was about the same time that the serious vinyl collecting started. Playing around with DAW's and electronic sounds for many years, before releasing under the new alias Jay-Son since 2018 first under Good For Year Records and GLF.

Recent releases of EPs and remixes have seen him land on Emerald & Doreen, Paisley Dark, Nein, Rare Wiri, Espacio Cielo, and When Disco Goes Wrong, dipping into hard and soft styles with equal passion and excitement, with more in the pipeline for the near future.

The New Yorker/Berlin based Curses is known for blending Rock & Roll with the darker side of Disco, incorporating his ghostly vocals and guitar with flashes of early EBM/New Beat, New Wave, and psychedelic synth vibes.
