No One’s Lost mark a return in 2021 with a sublime selection of deep dark disco infused tech, delivered by Italian producer Futuristant.

‘Starman' eases you into the collection with deep pulsating bass line and delicate marching drums whilst warped vocals dance over such foundations. ‘Money Power’ lowers the tone to darker, tripper moods as clashing synths drone over more throbbing bass.

Mexico’s Theus Mago then switches things up with his take on ’Starman’, chopping into the vocal samples for a tripper affair designed for the peak time. Label regular Fabio Vanore closes the show with his version of ‘Money Power’ following similar suit to Mago as the tempo increases and a powerful progressive piece is born.

Belfast based dj & producer Steve Boyd aka Cyence has been playing and promoting events in his hometown for the past three decades. Bringing thousands of acts to the city over the years, Steve not only played alongside the biggest and best in the business but also carved out a reputation for his own extended, all night dj sets. This truly versatile dj is finally making headway as a producer, presenting a timeless merge of Italo disco, indie and electronica. 'Stay All Day' represents the forward-thinking vision of the EP, combining a low-slung indie bassline with floor-friendly dynamics & percussion. 'Osiris' goes deeper into a hypnotic, electronic composition that builds and builds to create an amazing, atmospheric experience.

Innocence, consciousness, warnings… Colossio crash-lands onto Duro with his first full EP for the label. It’s about time; a fellow Mexican alchemist and kindred spirit, Colossio’s dark disco melting pot and strong political energy has bubbled to the same beat as label imprint since the very beginning. Previously spotted on the label remixing Theus Mago and Local Suicide in 2019, he’s now back with three formidable slabs of tightly-sprung timelessness and a remix from Dominik Marz.

Each cut more foreboding than the last, ‘Inocência’ lives up to its name as the most playful cut of the collection. A gently cascading arpeggio takes the lead as classic Yello-style pitched vocals add fun and human warmth to the mix. Dark but not devilishly so, it lures you into Colossio’s world, setting you up for the more up-tempo, late night synth-heavy twist from Dominik Marz.

Up next comes ‘Consciência’, an eight-minute lesson in total tension that takes the theme to darker places. Not so much as a song, but more of a full saga; it’s a taut, sinewy creeper laced in suspense. A story waiting to unfold in the most unlikely ways, it’s followed by the final warning shots of ‘Advertência’. Literally translating to warning, it takes things in an even darker, tense direction. More industrial sounding in the drum department and more pitched vocal shots, it’s the consummate soundtrack to the bleak future we were warned about in the 80s… And living right now.
