One of the most beautiful and interesting musical projects created by the great and electronic pioneer Maurizio Dami aka Alexander Robotnick comes back to life. Giorgio Records is proud to present the first official vinyl reissue of Mya & The Mirror with the song Hesitation (in both vocal and reflex versions) sung beautifully by Mya Fracassini, mezzo soprano lent to dance music. The 12“ contains an amazing remix of Armonics, now at home at Giorgio Records and two edits: an unreleased live edit by Alexander Robotinick played at the Italorama in Berlin in 2018 and one that comes from Australia by the very kind George Hysteric! The North of England is known for its musical prowess. Middlesbrough born Rees taps into that musical history while diving deep into lost disco, obscure wave and even the Middle East for his debut for Bordello. Three Eyes is a melting pot. Setting sail on bold beats and rumbling synthlines, Rees steers the listener through cascading chords, shimmering key shifts and serenading sirens to produce a truly unique dancefloor experience. Tjade, of Koi Jaye fame, is on remix duty. The winning formula of the original is adhered to with adjustments and ablutions guiding this interpretation. BPMs rise to give a fresh burst of energy. Two of our incredibly talented, graduated @NightBassRecords Freshmen teamed up to deliver us this next release. @Blossomdj and @myShdws unveil the “Mind Games” EP, donning two major collaborations and two solo bangers. The first collab “Lotta Cash” kicks it off with fun sample work and a textured rolling bassline leading right into the looming intro on the collaborative “Mental”, followed by a bass-heavy drop. Blossom makes modulation great again in this next one, “Modulate”, and Shdws finishes off the package with bassline banger “Pull Up”. This EP offers a clear distinction between Shdws’ stripped down yet rhythmically complex approach and Blossom’s ominously flavored, high-energy beats, all culminating into one fire EP.
