I used a zoom h4n recorder to capture sounds of the rain on my air conditioner, and then mixed it with subway sounds.

I started belching today very loudly. My stomach had been tight for the last few days. I wasn't even hungry. Emotions are releasing.

Unmanageability with numbers

Starting in Reaper, I altered field recordings I made with my iPhone from cicadas and a thunderstorm. Then I imported it into Garageband, using one of the handy synth textures and adding more field recordings I made of birds. Enjoy and please comment! 

Every 11 years

I was born in Germany to a Turkish audiophile father and an American artist mother. I was raised in the wonderlands of Japan and Iceland, traveling often with my parents. In Iceland, to amuse myself in the cold lightless winter months, I used to sit for hours at my father's Panasonic Double Superheterodyne RF-B600 shortwave radio, turning the dial left and right, entranced with the sounds between the stations. I'd pick up the same morse code signals and pure static. 

At the age of 26, I started making field recordings. Then I had a bursting forth of poetry from 2003-2006, when I lived in San Francisco. This is when I had the idea to use my poetry to make music in Garageband and Reaper. I do it for a hobby, since I'm actually a fashion accessories designer, but hope to one day release an album or two!
