Om, I bow to Lord Vasudeva or Lord Krishna!

Lord Krishna is all that begins with OM, he is Omnipresent, Omniscient, and Omnipotent.

OM - The Supreme Combination of Letters Emanating from the Flute of Sri Krsna! 

O son of Kunti, I am the taste of water, the light of the sun and the moon, the syllable OM in the Vedic mantras; I am the sound in ether and ability in man. (Bhagavad Gita 7.8)

I am the father of this universe, the mother, the support and the grandsire. I am the object of knowledge, the purifier and the syllable OM. I am also the Rg, the Sama and the Yajur Vedas. (Bhagavad Gita 9.17)

Of the great sages I am Bhrgu; of vibrations I am the transcendental OM. Of sacrifices I am the chanting of the holy names [japa], and of immovable things I am the Himalayas. (Bhavavad Gita 10.25)

Om mani padme hum é um dos mantras do budismo; o mantra de seis sílabas do Bodisatva da compaixão: Avalokiteshvara. De origem indiana, de lá foi para o Tibete. O mantra é associado ao deus de 4 braços Shadakshari, uma das formas de Avalokiteshvara.

O Dalai Lama é tido como uma emanação de Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara), por isso o mantra é especialmente entoado por seus devotos e é comumente esculpido em rochas e escrito em papéis que são inseridos em rodas de oração ("mani korlo" em tibetano) para potencializar seu efeito.

É o mantra mais entoado pelos budistas tibetanos.

We allocated two weeks in 2011 to record this new album. Artistic director Øyvind Gimse and his associate Geir Inge Lotsberg initially chose two pieces that represent, in their estimation, "the most beautiful music ever composer for the string orchestra": Tchaikovsky's Souvenir de Florence and his Serenade for Strings. Aiming for a 90 minutes program left 30 more minutes to record. So the orchestra and 2L logged on to Facebook and asked the listeners worldwide what they'd like to hear. And the audience responded: Nielsen's Suite Opus 1. A little gem that would exploit the Trondheim Soloists' singular way with Nordic repertoire.

Inspired by Morten Lindberg's extensive work with choral music, the Tchaikovsky's SERENADE was recorded with the ensemble placed in mixed voices, meaning no one is sitting beside anyone playing the same part, creating a totally new soundscape to the music. What we recorded in May 2011 is now published exclusively as high resolution audio files, by streaming and on vinyl. Then our recordings from October will add up to a full release on Pure Audio Blu-ray in May 2012.

TrondheimSolistene (The Trondheim Soloists) are regarded as one of the top chamber orchestras in the world. Their DIVERTIMENTI and FOLK STYLE were both nominated for a total of five American GRAMMY Awards in categories "Best Small Ensemble", "Best Engineered Album" and "Best Surround Sound Album".

The music captured by 2L features Norwegian composers and performers, and an international repertoire reflected in the Nordic atmosphere. The surround sound recordings of Lindberg Lyd not only transforms the entire listening experience, more radically, these innovative recordings overturn some very basic concepts regarding how music is played and even composed. 2L emphasizes surround sound with Pure Audio Blu-ray and HiRes file distribution, and have garnered no less than 12 American GRAMMY nominations over the past six years.

The recording of the Dalai Lama singing this ancient mantra "Maha Mrityunjaya" of the Rig Veda was taken with the permission of the Dalai Lama to one of his students. At first he refused, but then he agreed, but said the mantra should never be sold, but must be passed in vain. If you would like to share this with others, please continue to include this note.

Minna started learning piano at the age of five, and flute at the age of ten. She received her diploma for the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) in Piano Performance in 2009. She won first prize in numerous piano and flute competitions, including the 2011 Beijing International Youth Arts Festival Competition and the 2011 Hong Kong – Asia Piano Open Competition. She held her first solo piano recital in October, 2011. 

Throughout her musical career, Minna participated in many international music festivals for Concert Band and Choir in Moscow, Seoul, Brussels, Guangzhou, Kobe and Dubai. She played Principal Flute in the ISB Concert Band and various APAC (Asian Pacific Activities Conference) Honor Band festivals. During her summers, Minna also attended intensive music programs at the Eastman School of Music and the New York Summer Music Festival.

Minna holds a B.A. in Science, Technology, and Society from Stanford University. She has a Minor in Music and played in the Stanford Flute Ensemble from 2013 to 2014, and the Stanford Wind Symphony from 2015 to 2016.
