Noisia comprise Dutch producers Thijs, Nik and Martijn. Largely regarded as one of the most distinctive, powerful acts to emerge in bass music, their production techniques are referenced and praised across the entire electronic music scene. Their extensive body of work also includes the game Devil May Cry and the Foreign Beggars collaboration I Am Legion.

Alex Smyth is an Alternative Instrumentalist at the forefront of the Ambient Cinematic scene in Ireland. Equipped solely with a Guitar, Electronic Drum Pad and a suitcase full of FX pedals, Alex is capable of soundscapes Nialler9 has described as being “A little bit Low-Fi, a little bit Baleric and a little bit Chill-Wave”. Hailing from Dublin, Alex says his motivation comes from Ambient and Electronic Music, Naming Tycho and Explosions in the Sky as huge inspirations. 

With the success of his Debut EP – The Utopian Dream, Alex Headlined several shows in Whelans, The Grand Social and a sold out Bello Bar. Alex then captivated a forest full of festival goers as he headlined The Pagoda Stage on the Sunday of this years Body and Soul Festival. After being named New Artist of the Week in The Irish Times, Alex was featured in Hotpress Magazine prior to his Headline slot at this years Fuinneamh Festival.

If 2017 is anything to go by, 2018 looks like a promising year for Alex Smyth as he prepares to put a permanent stamp on the Irish music scene, with more shows and new brand music on its way.

SteppA is a producer from Dublin with a passion for making dance music of all kinds. He started out making dubstep and house/techno/garage but but has moved onto Drum & Bass more recently.His tunes have been played on national radio in Ireland and the UK. as well as currently on a russian label called Trilobit records and also releases with e.p releases here in Ireland,Uk & America.Steppa has been producing for over 14 years now and has tunes range from 100 bpm too 175 bpm.

NOORCOTICS:

NOOR: This part of the name is inspired by the Persian/Arabic name "Noor" (which is also my surname shortened) which means "light" or "brightness". It could also be interpreted as "noir" meaning "black" in French, which suggest a contrast or combination of light and dark elements.

COTICS: This suffix doesn't seem to have a direct meaning, but is a play on the word "narcotics”, which refers to drugs. It suggest something potent, addictive, or intoxicating in the context of music.

Combining these parts, NOORCOTICS can be interpreted as a juxtaposition of light and dark or as something bright and captivating with an edge or hint of intensity, similar to the effects of narcotics but in a musical context.
