She hurried up at first light
the fog danced ‘round her feet
as if clouds would greet the sleepy sea.

At the quay she turned her head
but house and tree were lost
she fears the heavy seas.

On deck she holds the wheel
the captain she’s never seen
but she’s sure each one knows the course.

She sets sails
she steers the course

the winds carry her away

and its’ unknown entities
but she worries ‘bout ripped nets and sails

She’s dreaming of her tree
which ascends defiantly
with his wry arms in the storm

The ship tamps but she stands
her sight goes straight ahead
