A remix of @user-711331258's collaboration with @noodletwister and @sinnysounds for last week's Junto.

The track and the reverse of the track were sent to my modular, where the audio was chopped based on varying decay envelopes. Some of the signal was overdriven and some sent though a Wasp filter. The resulting signal was filtered using a SEM filter to remove some of the harsher frequencies. Three tracks were recorded using different settings, then merged in Ableton for the final track. These were combined with an LA Atmos track from Spitfire Audio's LABS, and my own field recording of the San Francisco BART at Powell Street.

Doing this week's Disquiet Junto project, I took a head melody (popped in on Bristol Street in Birmingham, as these things often under duress: 3 hours walking and fear I'll miss the train. Oh hear be a head melodee. THANK GODDESS for recorders on mobiles). 

Keeping it simple and 60bpm straight up this meloday repeats four times, adding a different Warp Timbre (thereby affecting speed) each time.

Speed Limit Pt 1 (disquiet0609)

For Disquiet Junto Project 0609: Speed Limit Pt 1. The Assignment: Record a track at precisely 60 BPM with the intention someone will subsequently rework it.

This is from a live improvised jam earlier today (Sep 4) with my Creatures Once bandmate Monstrosus. It was a great way to spent part of this Labor Day off as we feel Fall setting in here in the Northwest. To Juntofy this, I took two of his keyboard lines and layered and panned them opposite. Kept bass and few textures. Removed drums to leave some space. 
Looking forward to hearing what everyones makes this week, and what will come next week!
