I'm Jim, AKA Smoked Yowie and much like the yowie of myth, I can be a reclusive creature at times. I live in the hills in country Victoria, Australia near a tiny town called Lexton. A town some of you will know is the home of the magical Rainbow Serpent Festival. For me, it's the place where I first sunk my roots in this beautiful scene. After attending 10+ RSF events between 2004(ish) and its finale in 2019, it was from around 2015 that I began to open up and really discover what we all know and love as the Doof. After finding my groove on the dancefloor in the heavier sounds of full-on, night-psy and soon enough, forest psytrance, I had an epiphany in the tiny hours of the morning after a solid night on the dancefloor. I knew what I wanted to do in my heart and that one day I could realise that dream! It was a moment I'll never forget and the reason I will always pinch myself when I get the opportunity to put together a show for you beautiful souls!    

On the business end - I love playing energetic, hard hitting psytrance for the bush aiming to bring smiles, challenge boundaries, stomp, bounce and flow in the darkness and blue hours of the morning. Bringing elements of twilight, night-psy, goa and forest together with a dash of weird to form psychedelic journeys bound by heavy basslines and wild soundscapes. This is the beginning of my journey into the world of Psy! Please enjoy what I have to share as a DJ in the making! Good music, heavy boogies with friends and family and lots and lots of love!

Boom Bunny crafts a sonic world where the organic essence of 90s Progressive Goa Trance meets the futuristic textures of today’s productions, with influences from his past as a Techno producer. His project blends the warmth of analog instruments with hypnotic loops and intricate sequences, subtly enhanced by a digital touch.

In the spirit of the early 90s producers who pushed both technological and creative boundaries, Boom Bunny continues his quest, searching for his next gem. This musical journey draws from the raw energy of a festival dancefloor: organic and tribal rhythms, crackling psychedelic leads, resonant filters, and the progressive music influences of the early 2000s.

While rooted in trance, his explorations sometimes lead him toward house, techno, or even disco-inspired grooves. Always with the same objective: to craft music that feels alive and focus on the dancefloor. His sound celebrates both the nostalgia of fleeting shared moments and the pure freedom of dancing without restraint, paying homage to the past while embracing the future, guiding listeners through an immersive, transformative experience where old-school simplicity and cutting-edge technology coexist in harmony.

Multi-instrumentalist, DJ, and composer Jean Dasso, known by his alias Yeahman & ORSSO, champions a unique form of artistic universality, seamlessly blending electronic and traditional music. Since 2017, he has performed across the Americas, Europe, and Africa.
Selected for the prestigious Inouïs du Printemps de Bourges, he represented the Occitanie region in 2021 before settling in Marseille later that year.
With a Mediterranean breeze carrying him back to his Corsican roots, Yeahman is currently working on an album inspired by his heritage : an innovative reinterpretation of tradition that stays true to his signature blend of authenticity and modernity.
His debut album Ostriconi, released in January 2021 on the U.S.-based label Wonderwheel Recordings, breathes life into traditional influences, bringing together contemporary musicians while weaving in his personal take on electronic music, marked by ethereal synths and driving basslines. Recognized by tastemakers like FIP and Radio Nova, his artistry has resonated far and wide. In spring 2022, Yeahman delivered an unforgettable session for Cercle, which also released his track Wadi Rum through their label. At the close of 2023, his collaborative EP with Aluminé Guerrero offered a deep exploration of South American sounds, leaving ample space for vocals to shine.
Yeahman first emerged in Toulouse, founding the Ghetto Sonido events in 2014. He has also made a mark as a programmer for festivals such as Rio Loco, Château Perché, La Cavale, and, most recently, the Marseille-based Folks festival, which saw a highly successful inaugural edition in 2024.
