Hoy me desperté

Echo3s of a lost r3alm

In Hephaestus' ancient forge,
where the demiurge now emerges,
we step on forgotten ground,
where we're healed of our wounds.

A strange brew in our veins,
through archaic, mystic chains,
used by the ancient shamans,
to break the mind's domains.

Slender origami leaves dance,
the wind plays a sweet romance.
Feeble chants from the tree of life
Awaken my soul to bright new life.

In Kamaloka, desires are felt,
shedding the existential veil.
Through voids separating stars,
I glimpse the pyramids of Mars.

A strange brew in our veins,
through ancient, mystic chains,
to break the mind's domains,
and drift through cosmic plains.

Hoy volví a escuchar un cuento
y un montón de recuerdos
a mi mente vinieron;
hoy volví a través del tiempo
a esos primeros años
donde no hay desengaños.

Hoy volví en sueños a vivir
mis primeros años de escuela
aprendiendo a leer y a escribir
y jugando a la bandera.

¡Qué bonito es soñar despierto!
viviendo todo un ayer
que siempre está en el pensamiento
pues son los años de la niñez.

y jugaba al bueno y al malo
con pistola, cuchillo y fusil
y una caña para caballo.

me bañaba en los pozos del río
y comía moras y regaliz

EXPERIENCES

Today I listened to a story again
and a lot of memories
came to mind;
today I went back through time
to those early years
where there are no disappointments.

Today I relived in my dreams
my first years of school
learning to read and write
and playing flag.

How beautiful it is to dream awake!
living a yesterday
that is always in our thoughts
because they are the years of childhood.

because we were each more mischievous than the other.

Bolerada

Shamans, alchemists and the natural philosophers of the classical era experience(d) that the planets are one and the same as the gods. They perceive them in the trance state like geometrically-shaped forces that send out signals or audible keys, when one concentrates directly on them at dawn on their name day.  That’s why I made a cover that was not the planet and not the goddess, but a more symbolic form of that force. 

The planets/gods have been called “the mills” by poets in the past because, when in tune with them, you experience a sort of grinding frequency going through the whole body.  I put a D drone to run through the whole track to try to capture that audible vibration, and I was inspired to write these words after meditating on Venus at dawn on her day, Friday.

Delight of human kind and Gods above, 
The Star of the Morning, the Queen of Love.
Whose power air, earth, sea and fire supplies,
And breeds all life that’s born beneath the skies.
Every kind that’s alive and blessed with sight,
Springs, when it sees your iridescent light.
It’s you Venus that shades and ghouls most fear, 
And at your blissful appearance, disappear.

Venus, be my aid, my tuneful song inspire, 
And kindle with your secret fire. 

For you, the wells in fragrant flowers are dressed,
At the Star of the Evening, we take our rest,
And the heavens seem more serene, in harmony, 
When the night-black soil sparkles with copper,
And nightingales extol your cornucopia, 
Peace candles are lit, proportion’s restored, 
And the broken-hearted sense your breath
Soothing them to sleep and healing dreams.


Sadly the brutal business of the war 
Seems unavoidable when the skies host Mars, 
But a man may retire from fighting fields to prove 
The pleasing tremors of your eternal Love,
There, while your curling limbs about him move, 
Involved and entwined in the links of love, 
With heart-strung eloquence our prayers implore,
Bring lasting peace to this world once more.

🌙 "Sleepless" is an ode to restless nights — a journey through shadow and light.
I love the night, because in darkness no one sees me.
