Just heard this on Heidi's page. Beautiful heartfelt, moody piece of music. I didn't know you had a second page started, haha. I asked the question on Heidi's page as well, but is this a collaborative project between the two of you? Or just a side project of your own?

Une petite chose qui pensait être divine
Il n'était pas vraiment timide,
et voulait diriger le monde, mais pour quoi faire ? Pourquoi ?
Par-dessus tout, il aimait construire et s'étendre, toujours se tenir au-dessus

Même si cela signifiait de déraciner des milliers d'arbres. 
Il n'avait pas vraiment envie d'être vert.

Et puis un jour, une autre petite chose

Comme elle n'était pas très gentille
Il l'enferma dans une tour pour qu'elle y réfléchisse à deux fois

Mais alors beaucoup comme lui
Se sont joints pour atteindre le sommet. Ils voulaient tous être vus.

Il ne peut y avoir qu'un seul roi
Ils se sont donc battus jusqu'à ce qu'ils entendent soudain un chant.

C'était les plus jeunes qui avaient été laissés en bas de l'échelle dès le début.
Tous unis qui chantaient juste :

I find it very pleasing to write choral music especially when Lena arlid is available for recording. She also produced this one.
So what is this then?
It's a sonnet (nr 109) by W. Shakespeare called O never say that I was false of heart. I composed the music in the style of madrigal choral. Give it a listen and tell me what you think!

I'm often outside in the forest, taking my daily walks. It's beautiful out there. But it's also painful because there are so many traces of destruction made by people:  Roadkilled animals like fire salamanders and blindworms. Waste and litter they left there, looking for recreation in nature but leaving it without any respect. Sometimes I wander for hours through the woods but still hear the noises of cars and planes. Some weeks ago I found "my" forest destructed by Harvesters. The place was a mess, it looked like a battlefield! All for profit - for growth, growth, growth....I just sat there and cried because it felt so incredible bad and I was ashamed to belong to the human species. Even now as I write and remember the day, I feel the tears behind my eyes.

A thought I liked then was how it all would look like if we humans were no longer here. How the plant and animal world slowly can recover. Breathe again. A thought that gives me solace and comfort in a time when everyone with eyes can see that it's wrong how we treat our environment. Another day without humanity - the track describes pretty much the feeling I have when I imagine a world without human destruction and carelessness.

Heidi K is a skilled musician I met here on Soundcloud and although she is not mainly doing ambient music, she was a wonderful collaborateur and brought up great musical ideas and samples. ETHEREAL: THE LOVE OF MANY THINGS

Hello, dear listener. I'm happy you are here and I hope you enjoy the sounds you find on this channel.

Missing Winter is a project that reflects my love for (the middle-european) winter and autumn. I'm really not a summer person. I like the cloudy skies, the rain, the low temperatures and - of course - snow. I'm never happy when the sun shines but I feel alive when a day starts with a grey sky. This is not only a personal preference but also a result of my summer depression. This kind of seasonal depression is not known very well, often people never heard about it or think I'm joking. But I'm not: Sunlight can break me during minutes and I try to talk about this form of depression often to gain awareness. If you read till here, you now know about it. Yes, one more!

Related to this topic, I worry a lot about climate change. And I am so sorry for the plants and animals that pay the rent for our way of life.  I can already see them dying on my walks through the forests here and it is breaking my heart. I miss the winters we once had so much! I feel like those hot, long summers we expect for future and already have now are a huge loss. So I try to put all my feelings in my music. The result is Missing Winter. If you made it through the text to this point, you might have simliar feelings. At least you know you are not alone and maybe my sounds can ease your grief a little bit by painting beautiful pictures of winter.

My personal perspective of winter is the middle- and northern European, but I think no matter where you live on our planet, you might miss the winter (and summers) we had before. Like winters that did not mean huge forest fires. However, please forgive my euro centered point of view, it is the one I naturally have.
