As our taxi we turned down a dark and narrow street I looked over at Mallory. She looked at me too. In the safety of Brixton, South London, we both simultaneously thought of that night in Afghanistan when our cab driver started to leave the city with us and we feared we were getting kidnapped. I felt her hand tightened in mine.  I asked the driver if we are close to the concert hall, and he said it was just around the corner.
