This time we have invited hopeless romantic, a great asset to the London scene, to craft something iconic for us. Originally from Italy but now based in London, hopeless romantic started his career *just* last year after being inspired by his beloved FOLD community.

He expresses himself through an array of captivating tracks and his mixing style is strongly shaped by the underground groove, hard groove, tribal and hypnotic sounds which always aim to take dancers on a proper journey.

Biemsix, which has been gaining ground on the international electronic scene, is coming to Portugal for the first time for the second edition of WaxLx!
The Berlin-based Italian DJ and producer is dedicated to exploring ancient and contemporary sounds in dancefloor-oriented Techno.
Progressively, he became an influential name in clubbing in his home region, Puglia, becoming a resident at the Mandarino Club.
His debut EP ‘Out From My Deep’ was released in collaboration with Ukrainian Techno pioneer Stanislav Tolkachev. Later, he also edited for Dynamic Reflection, Enemy Records and Symbolism by Ben Sims. One of his last works was included in Who Whom by British producer Scuba.

Cadence | Basement Podcast x Introspective

For over five years now, @cadence_live has been exploring the multiple facets of the techno scene, forging his own distinctive path.

As a co-founder and resident DJ of the Geneva-based collective and label Introspective since 2020, he has performed in many European clubs including Nordstern in Basel, Le Zoo in Geneva, and Re:mise in Berlin.

More recently, Cadence has been developing a style that blends trance and hypnotic elements, translating his musical universe through sets and productions infused with psychedelic and progressive influences, all while maintaining a relentless intensity.

Born in 2000, his music delivers an fusion of driving rhythms, crafting an atmosphere that is both euphoric and relentless. While ichmeinjogi's roots lie in the heavier realms of Techno, Schranz and Harder Styles, his passion for diverse sounds has pushed him to always explore new territories.

For this podcast, he presents his very first groovy Techno set, highlighting a new side of his musical journey.

of his new alias Third Phase also promises some exciting releases for 2025.

@lucid_lucifer is a Berlin-based DJ and producer pushing the boundaries of modern trance music. His sound merges the raw emotion of early rave culture with the surgical precision of modern electronic production - fast, hypnotic, and uncompromising.

Rooted in the past but never bound by it, his sets reframe familiar sounds through a contemporary lens. Each track is chosen with purpose. Each mix is a space: immersive, intentional, and focused - demanding nothing, yet impossible to ignore.

His work as a producer mirrors his approach behind the decks - what begins as structure evolves into something fluid: a narrative shaped by rhythm, restraint, and momentum. This vision comes to life in his recent debut EP.

Next up in our podcast series is @cervi-nicole , who brings us her musical vision straight from Costa Rica.
Cervi is the musical project of Nicole, a DJ graduated from DJLab Academy and co-founder of the collectives Sonido Disidente and Insurrectx. Her work focuses on trance and techno, characterized by energetic rhythms and atmospheric melodies that create immersive experiences.
Despite her short career, Cervi has shared the stage with international DJs/producers such as future.666, Sánchez Jr., and Chippy Nonstop. Additionally, Cervi has collaborated with
international record labels; her mixes have been featured on platforms such as
Loveisthetruth in Spain, inTension Live in Romania and Hystrionic Records in Colombia.
