She is known for her hard-hitting yet melodic techno sets embodying a hybrid of both 90s and contemporary vibes. Her roots lie firmly within Berlin’s underground scene; her mixing is slick and dynamic; her tracklist full of bangers and hidden gems. Having played at infamous clubs like About Blank, Sisyphos, Humboldthain or Mensch Meier, she also proved her devotion at Fusion and Melt Festival – with way more to come.

For the next episode of our MITSUcast we've invited Berlin based  Multifun. She is a DJ, the founder of MLTMX Records and a graphic designer based in Berlin. As a child of the 90s she feels connected to the typical sound of that time. Her feature is to bring forgotten pieces of music back on the dancefloor, combining those with crispy productions from the present to build up a varied mixture of feelings. Accordingly, she has recently began to hone her skills in the field of vinyl mixing, thus presenting a unique collection of analogue and digital releases to the dancing crowd. Depending on the mood she aims to express, her sound is always characterized by dreamy progressive synthscapes, vibrant percussions and pumping basslines, while not missing moodlifting vocals and in contrast some challenging elements here and there, trying to surprise the audience with much Multifun.

MITSucast 056 - Zoanthropiia 

Emerging from Donetsk and since 2013 resonating in Berlin, Zoanthropiia approaches music by freestyle, where she combines an adventurous exploration of various sounds. Zoanthropiia's musical journey is as diverse as it is enchanting. She began with dynamic world of funky and afro house, allowing these genres to shape her audacious style. However, her insatiable musical curiosity pushed her further, into the echoing chasms of techno. Melodic strains, the hypnotic call of rave, and the ethereal mystery of trance – all have left their indelible mark on her evolving sound. Her sonic palette is a tantalizing concoction of driving baselines that command your feet to dance, punchy beats that resonate with your heartbeat, and spacey melodies that sweep you into a cosmic journey. 

This set was recorded on 16th of December, 2023 at the Candyflip event at AEDEN Club in Berlin.

With a mix of emotional synths and catchy vocals, Melanchromie’s sets are going to hit you right in the heart. When she’s not behind the decks or collecting steps on the dance floor, she’s found behind the camera portraying other artists. In 2020, she started organising parties with her collective Krach vom Fach (engl. “professional noise”), in 2023 she joined Ataraxia and Silikon as a resident DJ.

Expect a tracklist full of bangers and hard hitting sounds. Since 2022 she made the floors shake at several clubs mostly in Berlin, Frankfurt and Leipzig.

For the 59th episode of our MITSUcast we present you a proggy mix by Femme Fatale. Femme Fatale represents the musical personality of uzbek-german, Berlin-based artist Val. Her newfound journey into music began with her induction into the rapidly rising collective, Aurōra Kollektiv, where she has already made quite the impression on Berlin crowd’s with her hard-hitting, energetic hard-groove and disco sets.  Her signature sound is characterized by raw beats, high percussive energy, and dirty old-school vocals.  The up-and-coming female artist is well-aware of the male dominance in the scene, and hopes to ensnare and captivate crowds with her alluring and uncompromising femininity, hence the name ‘femme fatale.’

The 60th episode of our mix series is brought to you by @kate_miao_dj - a Copenhagen-based artist who has flourished as both a DJ and founder of @miao-music-official, and has since made a name for herself with her captivating sets, label work and party series.

The Berlin-based Polish DJ & producer, part of @nobordersmusic and @blvsh_collective is one of the capital's most blossoming artists right now. With her high-energy sets, she spans a sound of multiple genres, blending together powerful rhythms, captivating melodies and cutting-edge sound desgin.
Especially with her own productions, she stands out as a talented artist and will soon gladden you with the release of her second EP.

She is rapidly becoming a favorite in the high-speed music scene, renowned for her distinctive, energetic sets that blend bright, diabolic, and psychedelic sounds. As a DJ, venue manager, and promoter, she has significantly impacted London's SET Vault and founded the trance-techno club night SLIVER. Her career includes performances at major events like Unfold and Rote Sonne and a signing with Para//e/ agency.

My goal is to take my audience on a journey with every performance, offering an experience that’s fresh, immersive, and unlike anything they’ve heard before. No two of my sets are ever the same, and that’s what makes it so exciting for me to be djing.

For over five years, Cadence has been immersing himself in the vast and evolving world of techno, carving out a unique and personal approach to the genre. As a co-founder and resident DJ of Introspective, a Geneva-based collective and record label launched in 2020, Cadence has been a key figure in shaping the local electronic music scene.

After notorious releases on labels such as Ismus, Extra Energy and Para//e/, Cadence has been pushing his sound to the maximum. The announcement
of his new alias Third Phase also promises some exciting releases for 2025.

@lucid_lucifer is a Berlin-based DJ and producer pushing the boundaries of modern trance music. His sound merges the raw emotion of early rave culture with the surgical precision of modern electronic production - fast, hypnotic, and uncompromising.

Rooted in the past but never bound by it, his sets reframe familiar sounds through a contemporary lens. Each track is chosen with purpose. Each mix is a space: immersive, intentional, and focused - demanding nothing, yet impossible to ignore.

His work as a producer mirrors his approach behind the decks - what begins as structure evolves into something fluid: a narrative shaped by rhythm, restraint, and momentum. This vision comes to life in his recent debut EP.

Next up in our podcast series is @cervi-nicole , who brings us her musical vision straight from Costa Rica.
Cervi is the musical project of Nicole, a DJ graduated from DJLab Academy and co-founder of the collectives Sonido Disidente and Insurrectx. Her work focuses on trance and techno, characterized by energetic rhythms and atmospheric melodies that create immersive experiences.
Despite her short career, Cervi has shared the stage with international DJs/producers such as future.666, Sánchez Jr., and Chippy Nonstop. Additionally, Cervi has collaborated with
international record labels; her mixes have been featured on platforms such as
Loveisthetruth in Spain, inTension Live in Romania and Hystrionic Records in Colombia.
