Linda Jozefowski is an eclectic swiss, Berlin-Basel based musician exploring a vaste range of musical directions, from jazz to indian music, electronic, hip hop, experimental and classical music.
She graduated with a Master in Performance from the the HEMu Lausanne.

Her performances on scene include  X-Jazz Festival (Berlin), Madajazzcar Festival, Cully Jazz Festival, Montreux Jazz Café, Jazz Parade Festival of Fribourg, Festival Jazz en Revermont, Jazz Contreband Festival, Icogne Jazz Festival (CH), Chorus (CH), Hot Club de Lyon (F), AMR (CH), B-Flat (D), Château Rouge (F),La Fabbrica di Losone (CH), Jazz’in Bess (CH) and many others clubs in Switzerland, France Germany and Poland. 
She had the occasion to play with Olivier Hutman, Malcolm Braff, La Velle, Reggie Jonson, Jaques Schwartz-Bart, Ian Anderson (jethro Tull), Joel Holmes, Amir ElSaffar, Antonello Marafioti. 
Her first own project “Linda Jozefowski “For my dead folks” was recorded in 2011 (UNIT RECORDS). Her discography also includes the album Special by the singer La Velle (2010, alongside Sangoma Everett, Emyle Spanii and Mathieu Michel), the album Friends by François Lindemann (2011, with Flavio Boltro, Glenn Ferris, Guillaume Perret, Alvin Queen), the album We’ll meet in the rain by the Kenneth Dahl Knudsen Orchestra (2016) and other productions from different genres.


From  2012 the flautist had been involved into various projects in Berlin including the Kenneth Dahl Knudsen Orchestra, Vernon D’Hill, Joel Holmes Greenhouse Expantion, aswell as  her own projects. She was also featured in  electronic music of different DJ and producers including Elby Bad, Tikogo, Soultrash an others…
Her next release FOCUS NATURAL features swiss pianist Malcolm Braff, Drummer Diego Pinera, Double Bassist Marion Ruault and Saxophonist Domenic Landolf.

After having organized concerts, set up stages and worked as a sound technician in the underground scene in Milan in the early nineties, I started being interested in electronic music as a dj first (since 1996) and then as a live setter (since 2003).
I worked in art galleries and festivals in Italy Germany and France: MiArt, Tacheles, Museo di Fotografia Contemporanea, 6b, le Cyclop, Fondazione Pistoletto, Milano Film Festival, Torino Synth Meeting, Teatro Out Off, MamBo, XNL, Attenzione Frequenze Anomale, By this river.
I published 7 lp: BIT BUBBLES, BACKROOM INDUSTRY, SMOGVILLE, LITTLE COMPUTER DISCO, NERDCORE, KLEPTOCRACY, LOW TECH DIVISION.

In 1998 I found my love in vinyl and electronic music. 
From that moment I have been collecting music and organising underground events in the north of Germany. For a long time I worked in record stores such as Konkret Record and MTS City Sound and did the hosting of radio show called Rudeboy FM in Oldenburg. 
In 2006 I moved to Berlin to get inspired by the diversity of sound. Since moving to the city I have played regularly at Freiland Festival at Mulde de Ragazzi (2010 - 2015). In 2012, together with DJ Soulsurfer (well known artist and organiser on the Drum and Bass circuit) CTRL Berlin was set up.
Also in 2012, I began curating at the Ma Thilda Bar  for the next three years, turning a corner stone for the experimental and improvised music in Berlin. 
From 2016 - 2017 together with other local and international artists and curators, I began working with this new collective on a project called the Mirror Mirror Festspiele. This is a Festvial for experiemtal music and contemporary art, initially held at the Greenhouse Berlin. 
After this time, I began working in the outer limits of Berlin, together with ambient musician and sonic artist Wolfram Spyra. From 2017 - 2020, we spent our time in the underground Art Space called the World Wide Window. Here, together with different members of the local community, we opened the doors of the space for workshops, concerts, underground parties. The WwW is now located in Frankfurt (Oder).
I live in the moment and I have more alter egos than I can put on paper. ..But in a nutshell, my heart  and energy is for ever dedicated to subculture and music.
