The B-Side of the six-track compilation on @sameheads opens with @automatenfall - a hardware electronic three piece, previously appearing live at Sameheads during a “My Friend calls it K-Jazz” event. A yearning that eventually gets us on a spiritual path and headed toward enlightenment through the meandering melange of chimes, that little sounds that usually overcome us in the weirdest of times.

“I liked the unusual side of the water – the bench set back
from the path looked up to windows rather than down

100% of the proceeds from the compilation will go to headspace, a national youth mental health foundation that provides early intervention mental health services to 12 to 25-year-olds.

Very special material found in the legacy archive of a Ukrainian rock'n'roll star from the '90s, the frontman of the Braty Hadiukiny band. After a long pause in his musical career and a life-changing period abroad, he unexpectedly switched to electronic music production.
He passed away in 2009 without releasing these tracks, and only a very limited number of people ever heard them in his studio. His productions include eclectic house, progressive trance, and downtempo tracks we discovered thanks to his former wife, who kept Serhii’s artistic heritage throughout the years.

After a summer break, the “Bordeaux-Kyiv Exchange” series resumes between @20ft_radio and @letype, featuring Bordeaux-based musician @laltuna. Photographer, filmmaker, fanzine editor, poet… Lal has been experimenting for several years through exhibitions/short films/photo shoots. She often works in close relation with the rock scene that thrives in Bordeaux’s underground venues, particularly at Café Pompier, a cafeteria of the Fine Arts school that has been transformed into a concert venue/nightclub for Bordeaux’s students and artists. Lal Tuna left Istanbul at 18, out of fear of feeling suffocated by a certain form of artistic stagnation, where creators, in her own words, end up 'self-censoring.' 

With the release of her first drone EP, Lal is exploring audiovisual atmospheres, noisy recordings, and especially the 'singer-songwriter' aspect of folk music. In her musical practice, she seeks to blend these different elements—that’s also the case in the mix she recorded for 20ft Radio and Le Type as part of the “Bordeaux-Kyiv Exchange” series.

Parisian Versatile Records continues to release serie of dubs to Etienne Jaumet's - '8 Regards Obliques' LP which was launched exactly one year ago 1st November 2018.
After Dubs Vol. 1 where I:Cube and DJ Sotofett were the main protagonists, Versatile offering you Vol. 2 of this 7" serie with dub rework from Etienne Jaumet's himself and Belgian, Brussels hero, 50% of Front De Cadeaux - Maurizio Athome AKA DJ ATHOME, who took the original and turn it into slow paced analogue jam with a club vox which although distant is also soothing, like the spiraling disembodied spirit you can hear in the dark room. This track has Duke Ellington base although there is still a sense of menace deep down between the kick drums and the bass.
The dub is exactly the sort of track you want to hear on the radio before you go out,  as you climb into the centre of the dancefloor with your couple and will stay with you long after the last note plays out, much like the end credits on the soundtrack to a tense spy movie.
