Starring on this new release, two of the most important protagonists of the German Deep-House scene decided to play „Kittball“ with each other. For those of you who don’t know the game yet, the rules are simple. It’s about teaming up in the studio and create a piece of work which tops all expectations.
Specifically it’s about two national and well-known team actors, who celebrate a première with a direct EP on the label. Hailing from Dortmund, Ante Perry certifies his place at the labels league of extraordinary gentlemen. With his long-term fellowship he was able to have frequent effect on Kittball’s sound with contributing his musical qualities.
Now he joined forces anew with Berlin based Dirty Doering, who was also partner on his track „XTC1“ as component of his „Freaks EP“ released back in 2014.

The trippy results „A Foley“ alongside “I can dance” prove a deep, but groovy atmosphere for all international dancefloors at any time.
Strengthening the individuality of the tracks’ nature, they invited the Belgian Nu-Dance-Project LouLou Players for a move, with “I can dance” as unquestionable reply with their remix. The cherry on the cake comes along by Hamburg’s House-Legends Moonbootica with “A Foley”s edit, which is warmly welcomed as a debut on the label. Considering overall as a frame, with cheerleaders supporting this release as a game, there’s nothing to say as hip hip hooray!

​Last year was the year Deetron launched his Character label. His Roots Panorama project with Ripperton set the wheels in motion before he returned to his solo alias for the 'Theory Of Light' EP. 

Fast-forward six months, past the devious Seth Troxler 12" collaboration 'Love Song', and the Swiss DJ and producer's back on the label with 'The Believer', three belting tracks with plenty of vigour.

After the release of their collaborative &#8216;BREED&#8217; EP at the end of last summer, Nicole Moudaber and Skin have unveiled the highly anticipated remix package featuring a long list of respected producers. Carl Craig, Fur Coat, Jamie Jones, Jerome Sydenham, Paco Osuna, Pan-Pot and Scuba are just some of the names which have turned their hand to the project. Originally born out of Nicole and Skin ofSkunk Anansie&#8217;s desire to fuse their rock and techno backgrounds, this is a true for a collaboration project with a difference. 
 
First, techno legend and remix master Carl Craig provides the only remix of &#8220;Someone Like You&#8221; featured in the EP. A powerful kick drum alongside the original chords take center stage, whilst Skin&#8217;s vocals come to the forefront in a series of tension-filled breakdowns. The EP includes two remixes of &#8220;Don&#8217;t Talk To Me I&#8217;m Dancin&#8217;.&#8221; Jamie Jones&#8217; take involves a thudding, heavy bassline, including the Zebra Katzvocals sampled over the top, whilst Jerome Sydenham takes the track into faster, heavier territory. 
 
Paco Osuna&#8217;s jacking, percussion-filled remix of &#8220;You Like This&#8221; is currently one of Nicole&#8217;s favorite tracks to play out - featuring a surprise buzz-saw synth drop mid way through, it&#8217;s easy to visualize the effect this would have on a dancefloor. In his remix of the same track, Berliner Hector keeps the strolling rhythm of the original, adding sub bass and synth touches before bringing the vocals in more than halfway through. MJ Hall, Nicki Minaj&#8217;s producer - uses the original as a hip-hop sample, with rapper Luz Wang featured on the track. 
 
Pan-Pot takes on &#8220;These Walls Are Made Of Water&#8221;, adding the duo&#8217;s characteristically stomping touch as well as dramatic new synth melodies. This remix is another Nicole favorite, often featured in her sets and her In the MOOD radio shows. French emotive techno specialist Paul Ritch turns in an atmospheric, driving remix for this track as well. 
 
Lastly we see remixes for the most conventionally &#8220;techno&#8221; track of the original EP. &#8220;Organic Love&#8221; is treated to a melodic yet industrial remix by Scuba, whilst Fur Coat remixes the track into a more dark and dramatic affair. 
 
&#8216;BREED The RMXS&#8217; EP is the latest incarnation of Nicole and Skin&#8217;s collaboration since the original project&#8217;s release in September last year. The pair have since been sharing the stage with each other at high-profile slots such as Space Ibiza and Coachella. Furthermore, the original EP was submitted and accepted into the Grammys for consideration - the remixes ensure that there now is a version of each track to fit into any set.

Hannes Bieger (@hannesbieger) is perhaps better known for his immense and highly regarded back catalogue as a mixing and mastering engineer on other people's records, as well as various other ‘behind the scenes’ technical gifts. Born in Hamburg and now living in Berlin where he runs his own production studio, this EP gives his talents as a house music producer space to shine - and that's exactly what it does. 

'Strato' kicks off the EP - a 9 minute journey into exquisitely produced and highly effective dance music - an epic dancefloor killer that could draw comparisons with masters such as Ame in terms of impact.

Rhyolite' is another extended dive into the house music hinterlands - a deep groove that gives a home to some incredible sound design that builds and builds throughout the track.

Ruede Hagelstein (@ruede) drops by to add his distinct flavours to 'Strato' for the third track on the release - taking it into even deeper zone - a stripped down, minimal yet emotive workout for the late night crews.

You can always rely on Huxley to serve up the goods, and so he does once more on one of his regular home labels, Moon Harbour. The big opener here is ‘Piano Dance’ featuring Mr V and it brings freakiness to the fore with diving bass synths and metallic claps overlaid with an intense spoken word vocal. The second sizzler is ‘Flauta’, which is another tension building cut that teases a lead flute line that will get the floor in raptures.
