Amsterdam native Patrice Baumel has had a stellar 2017 already. His Afterlife debut 'Glutes' was a favorite played across dark dance floors all year and his follow-up saw him team up with Miami powerhouse Danny Daze. Now, he's back at it with a remix of singer and producer Monolink's single off his upcoming album, 'Sirens'.

Baumel allows Monolink's slinky vocals to shine across a tantalizing, yet dissonant techno soundscape that fits perfectly into his growing, slow-burning repertoire. Multi-talented producer, DJ, vocalist and actress Dena Amy has touched down with Club Sweat for her new original, 'Jol'. Inspired by her roots in South Africa, 'Jol' is an uplifting and tribal tune that exudes warmth, and rightfully so. "When you say “Jol” in South Africa, it means let’s go party and celebrate - dance the night away," she explains. "The lyrics of the song translate to: let us dance and stomp our feet in the ground in pure happiness! I was very motivated by Nelson Mandela and wrote this around the time of the celebration of his centennial in South Africa (the track was originally called Nelson). He used dance and music to unify people. His speeches of peace were always preempted with song and dance, and that inspired me to write something about music being our universal language for peace, change, integration and celebration. An anthem of hope perhaps, plus just a great track to dance your ass off to!" 'Jol' is out on October 12.
