There's not really much else to say about this one. The names dropped in the title alone lets your ears know what they're in store for.

Detroit's Burden brothers, more commonly known as Octave One, have been making classic techno from their roots since 1990 – and, much to our pleasure, have continued to produce, DJ and play sensational live sets as though no time has passed. 25 years on, their music still fuels the dancefloors of 2nd gen. techno lovers, as well as being picked up and reworked by modern dance music's most valuable players –  of which Paul Woolford is most certainly one.

When asked about his "Lose Myself" rework, Paul shared that Octave One and their 430 West label "have been inspirations to me for so many years. We met through mutual friends and immediately connected, following various gigs together globally. It was an honour to be invited to work on something for the Detroit label. My intention was to bring out the soulful edge of Octave One's sound and place it within the framework of a track that would work towards the end of the night." 2018 has been a waiting game for new material from Dusky, and with their upcoming five-track 'Aset Forever' EP, the 17 Steps leads have finally delivered. The name of the EP is a homage to their late friend Jan Francis, founder of the ATG graffiti crew and School Records and who was also responsible to help make Dusky's first London gigs happen at the ATG Warehouse parties and their Staunch residency at Corsica Studios. 'The Ace' is a rapid fire tune with hints of acid and an energy that makes way for darker, more devilish tunes on the EP. 'Aset Forever' is out on September 14. Last week I was in India for a couple of days and got fully inspired after that. So firstly I created a new podcast and secondly I worked on some new originals, remixes and edits. So yeah, it was a very inspiring trip. I met so many interesting, kind, open hearted and passionate people and that is such a privilege to then play music for them and also build a connection before and after that. A lucky guy I am, I realise that over and over again. At the same time I am on my path of creating and playing music to bring lightness to the world. There is much light and much dark sides on this planet but it is all about perspective. The half empty or half full glass. I try to live it with half of a full glass. Please let me know what you think of this podcast? What is your favourite track and I know I have said it before but #38 will be a Club Mix. Debuting on Rekids, Laurent Garnier & Chambray collaborate for a colossal single entitled ‘Feelin’ Good’ featuring two outstanding remixes from label owner Radio Slave.

Having supported Rekids for many years in his sets across the globe, it only made sense for Laurent Garnier to drop one of his finest productions to date on the label. Although the legendary Frenchman has kept busy producing movie soundtracks (‘Paris Est A Nous’) and remixes in recent years, this is his first full release since 2017. He’s joined in the studio by Chambray, a Berlin-based producer known for releasing on Figure, Unknown To The Unknown and Jimmy Edgar’s Ultramajic.

Opening with sporadic battle cries, stabbing claps and powerful bass sequences before rapturous piano melodies come into effect – ‘Feelin’ Good’ is undoubtedly one of this year’s biggest tracks. On the flip, Radio Slave assembles two contrasting remixes that do just as much damage: the first is an atmospheric
number that marches forward using precision kicks, rattling percussion and rising pads, whilst the ‘Revenge Mix’ cranks things up a notch with its crunchy breaks before introducing the original’s blissful keys.
