Palms Trax joins LA Priest in remixing Erol Alkan's 'Automatic', the 100th Release on Phantasy Sound.

The landmark hundredth single on Phantasy, Erol Alkan’s ‘Automatic’ returns accompanied with two remixes that further take the London DJ and producer’s psychedelic club vision in distinct directions. The original 12" pressing, limited to 100 and hand-numbered, sold out in less than an hour.

Palms Trax builds on the sensual reverie of Alkan’s production with an electrifying rework full of touches both French and personal. Throwing out a gloriously chic bassline, the Berlin-based producer sprinkles carefully considered sweeps, stabs and filters on a trip to timeless house euphoria.

On September 4th, Peckham-based DJ and producer duo ​Chaos In The CBD ​will announce their ​In Dust We Trust ​UK & Ireland tour, and share a stream of their new track ‘Come Together’, from their upcoming 12” ‘Come Together / Digital Sound’.

The ​In Dust We Trust ​label tour will see the duo playing extended sets on a six-stop tour across the UK & Ireland, with stops at Manchester’s ​Hidden,​ London’s ​Corsica Studios ​and Brighton’s Patterns, ​with support from IDWT label co-founder Jon Sable.

They have also shared their new track ‘Come Together’, a jacking, percussive heavy hitter which features searing synths and a fierce bassline, from their new EP to be released on their IDWT imprint this October.

Louis from ​Chaos In The CBD says: “​Beans, Sable and I had been spitballing the idea of running a label for several years prior to moving to London in 2012. The turning point was getting a tattoo of IDWT on my arm in Paris, which for me meant I had to follow through with the project. After a long period of back and forth and feelings of trepidation leading up to the first release, the label has since gone from strength to strength.

The purpose of IDWT has always been to serve as an outlet to release our own music without being at the mercy of external labels, whilst also retaining full control of the project both musically and aesthetically. Our goal has always been to release timeless music that we will be proud of for decades to come. It’s been a natural progression since conception, and running label nights feels like the next logical step and will allow us to highlight some of our exceptionally talented DJ friends.”

Chaos In The CBD look set to close out 2019 on a high with a jam-packed worldwide tour ahead, including their ​In Dust We Trust ​label UK & Ireland tour, and stops at Tokyo, Melbourne, Montreal, Paris and Amsterdam.

COEO are back on Toy Tonics! After uninterrupted touring around the globe, followed by a short creative break the guys come back with an even stronger sound. The sound is based on classic house patterns and includes a lot of cool saxophones, big piano stabs & rhythmic piano solos. They even go tribal, use arpeggios and switch into breakbeat heaven. The four Originals are a great next step in the COEO evolution. The unique warm, catchy atmosphere of the tracks can create that special COEO euphoria which made them a lot of fans. From Moodymann to Disclosure, Mall Grab to Kenny Dope, the list is long. 

It’s fantastic to see how popular they became over the last couple of years. The last COEO vinyl sold over 2500 copies and some of their tracks have millions of Spotify plays. It’s DJ FOOD. Pure bliss!
