We put together this compilation as a fundraiser for the people of Beirut. 100% of proceeds will go directly to relief, and support organizations on the ground in Beirut.

In the aftermath of an explosion at the city's main port in August 2020 that caused unthinkable amount of damage to the city of Beirut and displaced hundreds of thousands of people. In addition, the damage and destruction of infrastructure and buildings throughout the city (including many cultural spaces, heritage sites, museums, hospitals, studios), not to mention the injured, homeless and hungry families who are in survival mode.

'Improvisations', a new compilation from Rinse France's Clad, pulls together future-facing sounds from various close friends and affiliates, half French and half international. UK electronic artist Troy Gunner features on the Grid Records release alongside E-Unity, Kevin Murf, C.Coiffure and more. The compilation's concept is a chance for artists to dip into genres and sounds they're not known for, and on 'The Way You Went Away', Gunner eschews the sorts of darker bass explorations he's made his name with. "This track was recorded on an Uno synth and reflected back in on itself via a spiderweb of effects chains that sit as a foundation around a series of field recordings made across Berlin and Bristol," Troy Gunner says. "It's a deeply personal piece I hold very close to my heart which I originally planned to keep close to my chest indefinitely, as it's dedicated to a good friend that passed away who I sorely miss. Shouts to Clad for putting it out on an absolutely incredible compilation among a plethora of artists I'm really excited about - there is just too much good stuff coming out of France at the moment. Shouts to Haider for gifting me the synth that I built the track on, and for his wisdom (which I've actually sampled in the middle section)." Featuring ASMR-like whispers and intricate sound design, the beatless cut is a beauty.

After the succes of ‘Cold Silver’ and releases on both @pressuredome and @3024world we have the pleasure of bringing you ‘Let it Break’. ‘Let it break‘ is the title song to her upcoming 4-track EP in which Talik introduces us to a more melodic side of her productions, combined with the strong beats we know her for.

Taking the reins for Tread's debut release is the unique Guava, whose previous releases on labels such as R&S and Holding Hands have made him one of the big names to watch in the left-field electronic world. Collaborating on the release are two of London’s finest session guitarists, Alex Blake and Leo Abrahams. Their impressive CVs include work with artists such as Jon Hopkins and Skepta, respectively.

Things open up with ‘In Cloud’, a blissed-out slab of broken techno, spaced out with guitar riffs played by Blake. Both ‘Libelle’ and ‘Equinox Meaning’ continue on this theme with a cut of bass weight, with more silky guitar performed by Abrahams on the latter. Dublin-based Sputnik One is on remix duties, turning ‘Libelle’ into a beefed-up club weapon fit for any sound system.

This entire effort was made possible due to Equiknoxx Music and Gerusalem Music and the name "+1" is just a reflection of Time Cow's own views on his production/creative ability and the thought that since the last EP he has gained that much more experience. Mezey & Nosho, back on FT! Mezey & Nosho graced Future Times’ FIGS Compilation from 2019 with a surprise techno beast, “Hippy Trick (Vocal).” Mezey (Benny Boeldt) has released a few amazing solo EPs but the union with Nosho (Matt Papich of Lifted, Co La, and more) came out of the blue, ripping.

FTDIGI010 continues that streak with two new hot ones from the duo. M&N are from Baltimore, and the music draws influence from dub, techno, and even that ‘step to create psychedelic sound-system weight. “Zeus Dub” starts it off with shades of Untold’s Hessle 12s, with shifting scenes of bass figures, odd vox and melodies that change the shape of the dance. “59 Positions” is there too, with added string synth waves and plenty of space for the DJ, in its Pepe Bradock-steppin’ soundworld, with a laboratory table of sensations swarming the song.

Not to be missed.
