​About a year ago we had Clouded Vision boss Matt Walsh go In Session for us. What he delivered was an hour of wriggly and writhing techno cuts, with Locked Groove, Daniel Avery and Ripperton all included. 

The mix itself was in a similar vein to the Bugged Out! associate's own tracks and remixes, whether it's 2010's 'Honey Comb' on Wax:On Music or his rejig of Daniel Avery's 'Free Floating'.

Not Another may have been around for less than a year, but the budding Brazilian label has already managed to score three sensational EPs that lend the imprint’s namesake some undeniable merit. Beyond will be the fourth they issue, forged by cofounder Be Morais. It comes equipped with three remixes, including a rework of “Beyond Feelings” from Alex Justino. Brooding and ethereal, his remix is one that draws on droning pads, driving drums, and a firestorm of swirling textures born for those deep and meaningful moments on the move.

With 4 releases under their belt and more to follow, it clearly shows the alliance between Hunter/Game and the Icelandic band Kura, can do no wrong. Their band, Landside, is now primed to get an accompanying remix EP following up from ‘Signs of Change’ and ‘Desert Lake’.

Drawing their inspiration from a cumulation of music that inspires them, they call up a diverse selection of artists to the task, which present an astonishingly coherent vision. From the stormy modulated chords of Robert Hood and trickling pads crafted by Etapp Kyle, to the dystopian narratives expressed by Bambounou and Edanticonf, the re-visionings provide additional star-power to what is already a fine, shimmering series.

@uponyourecords verbindet Menschen. Das beste Beispiel dafür ist die EP namens „Follow The Machines“, die bereits am 8. März 2017 erschien. Die Kollektion wurde in Kollaboration zwischen Sylvain Soulier und Joseph Thomas Price kreiert, die unter ihren Pseudonymen @thirdsonuk und @darlynvlys besser bekannt sind. Neben drei Original-Songs umfasst die EP einen Remix vom Produzenten-Gespann @eins_tiefer. Nico Bulla und Vincent Probst, die sich hinter dem Alias verbergen, wollten anfangs den Remix mit mehr Zug nach vorne gestalten. Rausgekommen ist dabei ein Acid-Remix der nicht richtig gepasst habe. „Beim zweiten Versuch sind wir etwas reduzierter an die Sache herangegangen, was sich letztendlich bewährt hat“, so das Duo. Darlyn Vlys & Third Son - Orson (Eins Tiefer Remix)

I'm a fan of the duo from Northern Ireland for a long time and was already really happy that they remixed our Kydus release last year on Terminal M. And now I'm even happier to have the possibility to release 4 originals from James and Lloyd. The reactions I get on the title track 'Argentina' which I used in my Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1 are crazy.

Darlyn Vlys’ hit ‘Runner’ was last year’s highlight on Polymath. Reaching the top 10 in it’s genre and gaining support from industry stalwarts, we thought what better way to celebrate than with a fresh batch of remixes.
Heading the pack is label kaiser Third Son, offering a broken beat variation on the theme. The additional vocals, generated through a Roland vocoder, pushes the futuristic concept to the next level.
Following is Correspondant/Permanent Vacation artists, Zombies in Miami. The low slung feel is a welcome addition to the package, and one that suits the early morning sets.
Polymath favourite Anii completes the remix package with a highly playable and energetic take. The acid lead- line compliments the original melody perfectly resulting in a peak-time roller.
