Uplifting experience

D.A.N.C.E. (Detector for Advanced Neutron Capture Experiments), the various artists series of the label, comes back with the italians Ness, Luigi Tozzi and the french Underjack. On the a-side with "TMB" Ness turns a robotic rhythm in a dark electric / industrial infected tunnel. LuigiTozzi’s a2 “Blood Meridian” strikes soft under an oppressive butterfly effect creating an intense flow. Underjack on the b-side delivers a nebulous groove that is responsible of a eight minutes of immense hypnotic techno cut with energy drums and crispy bassline

Patrick Siech And Sebastian Mullaert - Rivers Will Turn (Dub Version)

Polymath continues on it’s thematic journey, this time touching on the concept of ‘Decay’. Leading the troupe is renowned duo Digitaria. Their piece relies on a hypnotic, chugging bass-line and melodic leads to reveal their thoughts on the theme. The lead synth plays with decay and sustain parameters to reinforce the idea, and a suspenseful break adds to the compelling mood.

Polymath head Third Son, and Sincopat’s Darlyn Vlys, collaborate for the first time to bring us a heads down, melancholic affair, with a clear message. The words “The end is the same for everyone one”, points towards the idea of death, emphasising the theme.

Newcomer Ańii, makes her Polymath debut in style. A relentless bass-line coupled with dark atmospheres makes this one for the later nights. Arpeggiated chords enter the arrangement during a break before once again being pushed out by the powerful low end.

Dusty Kid is one of most renowned Italian electronic music artists. His profile remains in the underground side of the industry but his musical skills are great and eclectic. 'Istmo' is leaded by a catchy melody surrounded by a powerful bassline and deep elements. 'Sysma' is such a real techno track, a few but well chosen elements and some original and surprising breaks… Closing the release we find 'Feelers', a track with a raw beat, big bassline and lead synth, enough to do serious damage to any techno dancefloor.
