Pelvis are the Sydney-based DJ and fashion collective that have been tearing up Australia with raucous underground raves and kitting out its population with stylish wares since 2012.

Now the crew are spreading their wings even further with the launch of a label titled Pelvis Records, minting it with the ghetto-fuelled ‘Dance Freak Anthem’. It’s rough, sexy and vigorous, perfectly encapsulating the MO of a Pelvis dance party.

‘Dance Freak (Mall Grab Workers' Union remix)’ sees the young producer transform Pelvis’ raw offering into a sparkling number, infusing  it with that feel good Mall Grab sound with a sprightly synth melody, yet still retaining the original’s sex appeal with good use of the sultry vocal sample.

By taking an overview of what labels “Gorge” has already released on, including Diynamic, Systematic, Gruuv and just recently Hot Since 82's Knee Deep in Sound imprint and even the labels he’s hosted himself, gives you a great impression of the league of artist we talking about here. 
Ludwigshafen-based Gorge aka Pit Waldmann, classically trained in the piano as well as the drums, co-runner of the legendary imprint 8bit Records alongside Nick Curly and founder of the highly successful - Re:Fresh Your Mind label, and now making his debut EP on Still Hot. 

The title track "Alaris" stands out in the tradition of Gorge's uncompromising quality of music and will definitely stick in your ears. It features a dreamy arpeggiator lead sound worked in with its consistent flowing and deep encouraging vibe, which is implemented so well.

The B-side is titled 'Depth Of Silence' is perfectly appropriate and also contradictory at the same time. The track hypnotically makes you lose yourself in the depth and weight of Gorge's unique production sound. However whilst it’s hypnotic and emotive, it’s still a very driving and highly danceable choice of sounds. The silence shall be broken immediately when listening to both amazing tracks. 

We're very pleased to welcome back our man - Benny Grauer - with another remix. Benny never takes his remix duties for granted but rather translates the track diligently, persuasively to a darker and slightly more staggering interpretation of "Depth Of Silence". 

Look out for more bangers to come from our new Still Hot family member – Gorge - who keeps building his great reputation as a DJ as well as a producer around the globe.

A native of Galway, KETTAMA has spent the past couple of years rising through the tricky ranks of the Irish electronic music scene with his multiple residencies on the West and East coasts. However, his biggest claim to fame so far has been the online presence he has built across a range of different music communities online. What has happened since has been nothing short of breathtaking; his blend of hefty kicks with catchy riffs and stabs has given the house world a new ‘one to watch’ and he has certainly given everyone a good show to look at thus far.

Last year being his best year to date with his release of Bucklyn Bridge on Brookyln's HOMAGE, KETTAMA has no intention of slowing down in 2019. Joining the likes of powerhouses such as Demuja, Adryiano, Loods, and Harrison BDP, KETTAMA has recently decided to collaborate with UK label Shall Not Fade to come out with a new record titled Eastside Avenue.

Today, we are sharing one of the originals from the 4 track EP and it's called "Falling Down." Featuring generous applications of floor shattering bass and old-school Acid house synth work, the Irish lad is able to put together a high-energy chune that has "peak time" written all over it. We do not always post bangers of this variety on Bolting Bits, but when we do, they are usually top notch...and this certainly lives up to the standard.

Eastside Avenue is set for release on April 12th. You can bet that it's sure to fly off the shelves.

Last year I wanted to do something special for my set at Riverside Festival. Camargue was one of my favourite tracks that I always wanted to remix. Stephen & I worked on this project together and were delighted with the end result. The tracks been getting big support from Carl Cox & Denis Sulta on Radio 1. ON THEIR RETURN TO DESOLAT BARCELONA BASED MUSICIANS PULSHAR DELIVER A DELICIOUSLY DEEP AND TRIPPY EP

Following on from 2010’s critically acclaimed album ‘Inside’, Spanish duo Sergio Vidal and Pablo Bolívar aka Pulshar return to Desolat with the ‘Different Drum EP’, and all four tracks showcase the deeply hypnotic yet richly soulful sounds which the duo are synonymous with.

Opener ‘Wasting Time’ is a collaboration with Desolat label head Loco Dice. The track, which was creating during a jam session between these friends, is a deep and twisted journey, with ocean-deep sub-bass, and features Loco Dice’s own distorted vocals which echo in and out of the music.

On ‘So Tired’, Pulshar have expertly crafted a captivating rich soundscape packed full of warm textures and atmospheres. ‘Different Drum’ is a similarly engaging and uplifting track complete with soaring synths and crisp drums.

The 12” is rounded up by the standout ‘She’s Got A Ticket’, with its infectious groove, rich sounds and contagious vocal layered over its psychedelic rhythm.

On ‘Different Drum’ Pulshar have demonstrated with aplomb why over the last few years their distinctive and soulful brand of psychedelic electronic music has been turning heads and moving dancefloors.
