The Yellowheads are back, once again taking control of the situation and dropping another hot number on their home turf. Dema kicks things off with his own interpretation, letting the focus shift to the commanding bassline, while keeping the musical elements of the original intact. The original mix is up next, advancing in style with mighty low frequencies and cavernous effects, while streamlined synths go hand-in-hand with the subliminal rhythm section. Tomy Declerque finishes up with his own rendition, going for a more looped-out approach, combining classic chord action with spacey electronics and trippy edits.

"Mr. President" EP is the fruit of Noferini's collaboration with Danniel Selfmade, combining the unique style of each of the two producers, adding Noferini's irresistible groove and bright tribal elements to Selfmade's well-curated minimalism. In each of the two tracks you feel the presence of the two men. In "Coconut", it is as if Selfmade dictates the pace, progressing beautifully with his careful choice of each and every sound. The Keno Records boss has been working dance floors into a lather for more than a decade now, both as a slick DJ but also a producer who knows how to craft real house dynamite. He’s done so on This Ain’t Bristol, Club Sweat and Simma Black amongst many others.
Opener ‘Check Your Body’ is a big tune with big stabs and rolling drums. Filter house vibes and dark disco vocals add fuel to the fire and this one is set to ignite the floor in real style as it continually builds pressure and tension.
Second superb offering ‘Good’ is a much more pumping track with slick drum programming and rippling synths. It’s a brilliantly high energy cut to sweep up the floor and drive them late into the night.
These are two club-ready bombs from the always effective David Keno.
