Here is the Seth Troxler remix of the track 'I Try To Talk To You' which is co-written by the excellent John Grant. The track is taken from the album 'The Feast Of The Broken Heart' which was released on the 26th May.

The first vocal collaboration of the new album's recording sessions, John's sexy tomcat voice and lyrical ability for translating hardship into elegance lent themselves greatly to the new album.

Andy Butler explains: "I asked John to dig deep with his lyrical contribution. I had no idea he would dig so deep. He tackled the story of becoming HIV positive, and while I mentioned to him that he did not need to go there if he was not comfortable, in that beautifully punky, spirited and courageous way he has about him, he told me that was what the song was going to be about. What came of it is an elegant song featuring John singing and playing his heart out.”

'I Try To Talk To You' was released with remixes on the 9th June.

Leading the straighter side EP are two fat remixes. The Nusto Remix, another debut, the first collaboration from Nu and Nico Stojan and it sounds just like that, deep and bumping. The Niconé remix is a super fun take on the original and sure to be a big floorfiller this summer. Ryan's originals are multi-layered and sample heavy and revealing something new with each listen. From the slow house title track to the nipple twisting James Brown party bumper to the deephouse-meets-pop dark horse ride, there is something for everyone on this EP right here. Enjoy.

After making their debut on Dekmantel not so long ago, Italian duo Rio Padice and Massimo Di Lena, together known as Mephisto Frequency Oscillator (MFO) now serve up part two of the Future City Traffic EP. Across four new tracks they continue to explore grainy, dirty house that is variously soulful, funky or cosmic in nature.

Opener 'Motor' is the funkiest of all the cuts, with well-defined drums keeping a fine disco groove locked down as whirring machines and wubbing synths dart and dance all around it. Next, 'Oman Jazz' pairs malfunctioning percussion and truly out of control synths that burst, blob and drop into the arrangement at random intervals with a fat and gloopy acid line and a soupy, gloopy deep house track of the highest order results.
'Design The Future' is another meaty and hugely textured track, this time taking its melodic cues from distant planets and intergalactic life forces. Finally, 'Arctic Lodge' kicks things off with a heavyweight kick drum, paranoid synth sounds and jumbled percussion that sounds like Kassem Mosse at his most angry. It's a beautifully lumpy, frayed sounding track that moves in many different directions at once.
This EP oozes live and creative invention from start to finish, and for that reason is amongst some of the freshest stuff you are likely to hear all year.

Slime welcomes the renowned French producer Salaryman to the label. An industry veteran with an impeccable back catalogue on some of the biggest labels around including Ram and Infrared, he makes his debut on the imprint with a versatile and compelling selection of tracks that span garage through to drum & bass. 

‘Lose Your Memories VIP’ warps the original track from a D&B template into a seductive garage roller. Drifting in on modulated keys and atmospheric percussion, the rhythm slowly unfurls into a laconic two-step narrative. Replete with subtle bass pulses and breathless female vocals, it conjures up the best elements of the golden era of liquid D&B, twisted into a UKG format.

‘Modelling Clouds’ sees a collaboration with fellow countryman Static State for this sublime D&B odyssey. Melancholy piano keys introduce proceedings before melodic chords and ethereal vocals are blended across a beautiful D&B groove that quickly warms your heart and sets your mind adrift.

‘The Days’ celebrates the joy of old skool garage with an addictive string-picking melody wrapped around bumpy UKG beats and twisting basslines. Subtle rave chords and female vocals add some sonic spice to the mix for a classic dancefloor filler that will have ravers everywhere winding their waists.

For the last track French producer Hubwar takes hold of ‘Modelling Clouds’, mutating it into a contemplative dubstep groove. Cavernous bassweight and alien sounds combine for an enervating take on the original.

'Love/Kraft Part 2' is released on November 10 via Zone, the record label ran by Amato and fellow darkness-bringer Gesaffelstein, and features seven more tracks that touch upon Italo Disco, Detroit-styled electro and punishing techno.

We have the premiere of 'Jupiter Skyline' and it's one of the more fiery cuts on the EP. Skipping around the 126bpm mark, this is a glitchy and synth-laden production, one that hypnotises and pummels in equal measures. Check it.
