Consistently modest in his ascent, Youandewan has steadily built his reputation behind releases on Secretsundaze, Hypercolour and Simple Records as well his release on AUS back in June of 2014. Leaving his astute skills to do the talking, he presents his ‘Spiral Arms’ EP - a sophisticated meld of deep pads, flecks of acid and no-nonsense House grooves backed up by a remix from Marquis Hawkes.

The Dixon Avenue Basement Jams affiliate, Marquis Hawkes then follows up his work on Houndstooth and Créme Organisation with a rattling 90’s revision of Fool Be Cool - stout percussion and circling vocal cuts build a mood that’s sure to get the shutters open as AUS start the year off right"

Each of the four tracks shuffles and swings around the corridors of moody house - think Floating Points with a darker LK twist. The A2 cut, “Think About It First” keeps pretty tightly within the theme of the EP, perhaps a shade moodier and discordant than other tracks - a little more smoking behind the bikeshed as opposed to double chemistry.

Damiano Von Erckert’s ‘Replica Material’ EP is his debut for Aus and feels long overdue. A three-tracker that touches on the deeper strain of his production palette, his knack for appreciating those vintage grooves whilst adding a sprinkle of his own flavour is what gives ‘Replica Material’ that unique character. It’s that approach to tracks which has caught the attention of stalwarts, Move D + Ata. Damiano, David + Ata all share a love of Offenbach institution Robert Johnson, infact the ‘Replica Material’ masters were even tested and approved on the club's legendary system. 

We premiere Dramatic Romance, which sonically illustrates it's title perfectly. The lead synth and bassline anchor the track, both wildly oscillating throughout the full cut, creating moments of dualistic drama. Saturated yet sharp percussion carry the melodic elements with ease - creating a true journey as well as a club focused cut.
