Since forming 20 years ago, Richard Dorfmeister and Rupert Huber - otherwise known as Tosca - have been prolific when it comes to releasing albums. 

Long-time residents of Studio !K7 and sub-label !K7 Records, Dorfmeister and pianist Huber have 10 albums behind them, the most recent being this year's dizzying collection of jazzy electronica 'Outta Here'.

The Danish producer and composer Emil Breum continues his exploration of the melodic frontiers of beatless electronic music, also known to some as ambient pop. ‘Primavera Gelato’ – or “springtime ice cream” – sounds like it soundtracks a specific memory, with its soft nostalgic bliss, accentuated with a folksy little chorus.
 
The single will be out September 6 and will feature on The Swan And The Lake’s forthcoming album, titled Impressions.

Arthur's Landing is an ongoing project led by singer/guitarist Steven Hall. The morphing line-up explores Arthur Russell's Buddhist songs through performance and recording with a view to maintaining key elements like childish improvisation and groove. The latest incarnation features Paddy Boom (drums) and Carlitos Hernandez (bass/gtr) with vocals by Steven Hall/Andrea Hall/Marcus Huffman/Soliterre.

"Miracle 2" is the second incarnation of the classic dance floor anthem "In The Light Of A Miracle," co-written by Arthur Russell and Elodie Lauten. Since its inception in 2013, Mawimbi founders have been expanding their knowledge of lesser known and rather undiscovered musical territories thanks to chance encounters with likeminded DJs/producers, who were kind enough to put them onto a good amount of under-the-radar tropical gems.

Kill Emil - Don't Let Me Down

Brookyln-based producer Reed Kackley has been hard at work ravishing the electronic music stratosphere under his moniker BAILE. Staying true to his signature sound, he returns to House of Youth with 'KWT' featuring K. Marie Kim on vocals. 

“I had initially envisioned 'KWT' as an instrumental, but upon finishing it up I decided to pepper in some vocals samples I had lying around from an unreleased track with Marie Kim. It still felt incomplete, so I asked Marie if she wanted to record something new over the instrumental. At that point the track finally had the arc I was searching for and felt fully realized.”

BAILE blends trip hop with lounge once again in this release, and the effect is as warm and fleeting as a dream. There's a lot to be discovered here, with rich sounds and textures buried in layers within the production. Marie Kim overlays the track with a lamenting vocal about a relationship about to fade out.

“The words outline someone letting go of a friendship or relationship that has grown apart over some time. There isn't one party or incident to blame but perhaps compounding resentment. So we go alone -  we want to feel perfectly good alone, but most of us don’t.”
