This is the first part of a longer idea following a birth of a mountain witch,   A rare and unique event in the witch world and requiring a proper musical and emotional context.  The idea is following very dissonant chords, open voicing across octaves and mediant modulation for the chorus span.... to be developed further..

The Birth of the Mountain Witch

It is a short demo of an idea for a more dramatic piece...I imagined a leadership of a futuristic (or not) cabalt mine, in the middle of nowhere, celebrating great results, against the sound of slightly underage workers digging outside.  I used the more pronounced melodic idea, with lot's of bass.  It follows a kind of minor pattern but with quite some borrowed chords for more contrast...

A short James for the Seed2Stage January, inspired by JFK speech in Berlin, and the Berlin school electronic music...With a more agressive synth improvisation and guitar played backwards...and some effects..

The idea is based on a phrase really.. I used 5/8 time signature to mark some non-linear musical horizon...And very simple instruments around it...

Empathy is a Cornerstone...

The idea came from the sounds of happiness of my dog - Flicka.  For once I used a happy sounding Lydian and almost exclusively multisample instruments by myself  - ukulele, cymbals, my daugter's voice with various effects, some African percusive instruments...The main motif impro with Push. Had a lot of fun with this one... ON the picture Flicka and Ribera del Duero red wine...
