Plaid, Camel, and Sun with me.

Dirt in my cap so dusty;
The scents on my chaps smell musty.
Wearing coat with naval tales,
Always hungry crust is stale.
The Commodore is off to sail!

Hearing sweet songs of the sirens
Maybe selection will treat me well
And ring a diff’rent bell!”

Voyeuring ‘way from ol’ sea;
Voyaged through Josh and his trees.
Had my fun but time to run
Find another diff’rent sun:
Another desert other one.

"Don't give up the ship!" I cried as my crew gave 'way their drive and gusto to the smell of frustration—sweat and fatigue. 

We pulled strongly on our triggers and took great care in aim— 
and might I add quite spot-on! 
—and of course splendidly penetrated (and subdued!) enemy ships. 

But what lies ahead, beyond the horizon, for me? More ships, more battles, and of course much more of the same. 

But we shall celebrate today, for today is (another) victory in my logs.

Pulled the trigger lighting this run.
Sailing upwards into the sun now I’m done.
‘Cause I don’t want you to tell me to stop
And look around.
Not now that I’m bound

On to glory, fight so cheery.
On a foggéd water kind of lake (so eerie).
‘Cause I don’t have anything no more,
What have I done?
Look what I’ve become:

I’m not a king
I’m not anything anymore.
Not commander of the fleet to shore

Canons blasting powder on my nose.
Chasing for that garden of rose-bearing thorns.
The expedition isn’t 'put
‘Til I’ve received
News to roll up my sleeves.

Ooo I’m reaching for supply
Up in the sky.
Now I’m searching for someone
Who’s violet or plum.
See the followers believe
But where’s that leave me?
High just floating for the one.

Pulling strongly West on the wheel;
Route the course again to follow heart— this time feel:
There is no giant sea in the sky,
It’s just a lie.
So now I realize:

I’m not a king
I’m not anything anymore.
Not commander of the fleet to shore.
