Tresor welcomes Israel Vines to the family.

Bred in the 90's U.S. Midwest party scene, Israel Vines has since carved out a singular space in the American underground as a DJ, remixer, and producer. In 2015, he joined forces with Detroit's legendary Interdimensional Transmissions crew to showcase his post-techno excursions on their sublabel Eye Teeth, on which his debut album, "And Now We Know Nothing", was released in 2020 following a string of highly rated 12" EPs.

"Voices", a six track EP delivered for Tresor, sees Vines approaching his finest form. Misty, breathtaking atmospheres and distorted vocals waft like murmuring ghosts across concrete floors, trailed by columns of light and beings from another realm. Broken kicks, halftime snares, outer-world synthetic tones and interlocking bass-heavy polyrhythms abound, combining to create a boundary-pushing take on the techno blueprint.

This is futurist energy commingled with raw, unrestrained spirit – honest, pure and intense.

This release is dedicated with love to the memory of Greg Mudge (1974-2021) - Community leader, restaurateur, inspiration, dear friend to many, and a pillar of the Detroit Techno scene for nearly three decades.

Simple Plan

“Zeugma”, es un track con un carácter melódico, profundo y atmosférico. La base se construyo sobre un kick sólido y redondo, acompañado de un bajo cálido y envolvente que fluya con groove hipnótico. Las melodías principales surgen de sintetizadores etéreos y arpegios cristalinos, creando una sensación de conexión entre lo terrenal y lo abstracto, como un puente entre dos mundos. Incorporar pads expansivos y texturas ambientales que evoquen paisajes infinitos, con un desarrollo progresivo y dinámico.

Ciao ragazzi. Rome's Teslasonic (@mr_feedback) is next on Budapest-based Dalmata Daniel (@dalmata-daniel) with a 12-inch. The remix of 'Quantum paradox' was done by The Hacker (@the-hacker). The Frenchman also has a release on Teslasonic's MinimalRome (@minimalrome) label. The remix is a more technoid approach to the original electro track. The patterns are changed (it's a new track) and the result is a dance floor hit.

Identified Patient drops another calamitous record on Pinkman - 4 dungenous slowbeat cuts, brimming with energy, emotion and attitude. The EP kicks off with Geen Syndroom where jaded, murky melodies go in tandem with sexy bass lines and an obliterating broken drum beat. Thereafter, Nog Steeds High Van De Lak progressively evokes feelings of desolation and melancholia, while carrying an aggressive punch and irresistible groove. Do the flip to find two more ferocious productions in Ver Verwijderd Van Vermoeid and Haar Glans Altijd Strak. The former grips you firmly with bubbling acid and machine gun snares on the backdrop of violent kicks. The latter ends the voyage entrancingly with hypnotic synth lines, whiplash-snares and rattlesnake-hats.

The road was calm and quiet, those who inhabited the surroundings rarely saw much new life pass through here. Bordered by perfectly symmetrical tall trees, the dust track stretched far into the distance, with no destination in sight. He perched on the side of the road, tapping the curb with the tips of his fingers to make sure he didn't drift off. With every slight sound he jolted up to his feet, but for hours he waited and nothing passed. As he was about to admit defeat, the rev of an engine sounded further up the road, slowly gaining closer and closer. Now to sweet talk his way into getting a lift...

Parisian label Motordiscs, a continuation of the late Garage club in the capital, offer up their third release, another V/A spotlighting former DJs and artists who've played at the space.
