A Man On Acid is a Finnish DJ and producer shaped by the underground rave culture of the 90s. Known for his hypnotic 140 BPM acid techno, he blends rolling basslines, piercing rave sirens, and industrial percussion into a raw and addictive sound. His sets and productions capture the atmosphere of abandoned warehouses, neon-green lasers, and the iconic acid smiley sprayed on cracked concrete walls.
While rooted in acid techno, his music reaches further: certain tracks carry the melodic touch of Russian influences, others echo the cold mysticism of Finnish folklore, or the restless energy of industrial warzones. Still, the heart of his sound is uncompromising acid, fast, heavy, and meant for sweat-drenched nights where the crowd loses itself in repetition.

A place for sound freaks lashing out from the dark. 

So there's all kinds of stuff on this page, but after months of schizophrenic debates about who was playing with who and who took the lead while doing it, finally, the decision was made: all my alter egos got together and decided to form a band. From 2020 on new tracks are created under the moniker Gruppo Infernal. Only pure MMTJ tracks will still be named as such. 

Gruppo Infernal still relies on my work as Me, my Thumb and Jack, an ongoing quest for a liberating approach to sound creation where the human body acts as an oscillator amplifying the natural 50hz hum. Direct live recording, improvisations and delay loops only using analog filters and effects. No editing, no overdubs. Gruppo Infernal adds digital treatment to this original sound material. 

UnterPitch was an alter ego using samples & synths.
Bleached Coffins was a one-off project using guitars.

I like listening to music, making simple, tunes when I have time, and generally faffing about in an inefficient manner. Hopefully you might like something on offer here. 

I use a Hinkler Cigar Box guitar (about $30 from Aldi, great fun), a Flying V ukulele, a couple of old keyboards, other bits and bobs, and a Yamaha tenor saxophone.

No AI is used to generate sounds whilst journeying on these cacophonic adventures.
