Allison McKenzie flawlessly blends pop and R&B together with her smooth Anita Baker-like vocals and fresh and soulful melodies. After being selected to perform in the famed B.B. King’s R&B Spotlight Showcase in New York City, she decided to focus more on her songwriting and formed The Ally Mac Project to record her debut album. In 2014, Allison's original song, "The World Is Ours" was selected as the theme song of the Music Biz 101 & More Radio show on WPSC Brave New Radio 88.1. 

Released on May 27th, 2016, First Love is a raw and original expression of the beautiful, crazy and sometimes dark side of a first love. Additionally, Allison also performs and records with 19 piece neo-soul and jazz big band, Big Beat throughout the tristate area. Two of her original compositions appear on the Big Beat EP, which was produced by acclaimed trumpeter, arranger and composer Cecil Bridgewater.
