Jamie Jones launched the Hot Creations label back in 2010 with 'Ruckus'. Now Jamie makes his long awaited return to Hot Creations with 'Planets, Spaceships', a four-track EP set for vinyl release on 18th November 2013.

These tracks have been Jamie's secret battle weapons all summer. Tapping into a dark sider but with that distinctive Jamie Jones melody and drive that are a signature feature of his DJ sets. Title track 'Planets, Spaceships' features vocalist Daniela Caldellas from Digitaria, who has an album planned for Hot Creations in the new year, whilst 'Cookie Monster', 'Starp Trek' and 'Stick' take things even deeper with vocal snatches and crisp claps.

Highlighting his avant-garde style and showcasing exactly why he is recognised as one of the leading figures in the rebirth of house music, 'Planets, Spaceships' further cements Jamie's place in the dance music hall of fame.

Stefano Noferini teams up with Luca M and JUST2 for "Raw House" and it does exactly what it says on the tin: Classic House stabs lead the way, with a rhythm section reinforced by an old-school breakbeat and distant vocals providing the sexiness. Paul C and Paolo Martini are in charge of the first remix and their driving version employs a sleazy bassline to provide the momentum and clap edits to keep the suspense level high. Raul Facio's rendition is a more dubby affair, which lets cavernous effects do all the talking while the crackling drums make sure that everything is glued together in style.

With the original release marking Rekids return from hiatus, Radio Slave's The Clone Wars is now revisited with a trio of new interpretations from three distinctive talents on house & techno.

On the A side, Markus Suckut moulds the original into the kind of no-nonsense rolling techno jam that has personified his releases for Mosaic and Figure. The B side enlists two US talents in the shape of Parris Mitchell and DJ Spider, with the former bringing a glitchy take on the jacking Chicago house that Mitchell perfected in his timeless productions for Dance Mania, and the latter shaping the track into crunchy weirdo techno that sits perfectly alongside his output for The Trilogy Tapes and his own NY-based Plan B Recordings.

Following a standout EP from Kenny Glasgow in early April, My Favorite Robot follow it up in style with an excellent new three tracker from German duo Smash TV.

With 15 years experience behind them, Smash TV have had plenty of successes in their career. As well as three albums on Get Physical and BPitch Control, the inventive duo of Holger Zilske and Kai Preussner has also released plenty of club ready material on Souvenir and Hive Audio. Favouring a curveball sound that is catchy and original in equal measure, the pair confirm their place once again with this latest offering.

The tantalising title track finds the German artists in moody and heads down mode. Rubbery beats drive thing along as a molten, soft edged melody bubbles and boils in the mid ground. It’s a track full of tension that will grab any club’s attention. The excellent ‘Ark’ is more upright, with cute bass stabs, future retro chords and neat little melodies all coming together in majestic style. It’s full of feeling and is as warm as they come.

Lastly, ‘Nishiki’ offers yet another side to the versatile Smash TV sound. This one is slow and deep cut, with pixelated melodies delicately balanced on top of soft wooden hits. Some melancholic chords light up the backdrop and as it slowly rumbles on it will cast all in its wake under its hypnotic spell.

This is yet another exciting new addition to the ever excellent and ever evolving ranks of My Favorite Robot Records.

Never getting stuck in fads Darius Syrossian is an artist who prefers to ignore fads and genre names, to him, everything stems from House and Techno and those are the only two genre names he considers important. Already an established name as a DJ and producer Darius has become well known for his own sound over the years, he is also known for his successful A&R role for the Do Not Sleep label. The party series for the label will be taking up a new residency this summer at Space Ibiza. On top of the weekly party series he is regularly releasing and remixing on a crop of key underground labels. Never stopping and always hard at work Darius Syrossian is one name that we are sure to see for years to come. 

Now joining the Mobilee crew with a release on Leena Music, Darius Syrossian presents two solid tracks aimed for peak time dance floor action, Darius has actually sampled the ‘howling' noise made by recent storms in Manchester to create the lead synth throughout the track and also used the organic wind sounds to make the percussion, instantly grabbing the attention of the listener with a modern take on classic house and techno sounds he creates a one of a kind evolved sound. This sound invokes feelings of joy as these tracks take you on an adventure that will leave a lasting impression as moments in a set that bring the most delight. 'Beetham Tower' was actually made especially for his upcoming set at The Warehouse Project in his native Manchester. Naturally sampling a piece of Manchester architecture makes this mixture of organic and technical creativity a release that's going down a storm at his sets.
